If I could give 0 I would. The owner is very very rude. When booking the appointment he stressed the importance of cancelling if we couldn’t make it due to saturday being his busiest days. Totally understand that and was very conscious of it. Was on my way up with some other families, mind you it’s an hour away, when we got rear ended about a little over halfway of our trip. Obviously me along with my family were very shaken and thinking to call and cancel the class wasn’t the number one thing on my mind. I then proceeded to get two phone calls from Peter, the owner, chastising me in a very aggressive tone for “blowing him off” and not calling to cancel the class. I understand calling to express the importance of canceling but obviously this was a situation out of my control and a scary one at that. And the tone and way he delivered that message was unprofessional and uncalled for. He should practice a little more consideration with his potential customers. Fabulous Experience with Peter in Glass Blowing! Glass blowing has been on my "bucket list" for a very long time. For my birthday last month, I went to the Greenwood Glass Blowing Studio Gallery & School. Located in Riverton, CT in a beautiful old church, the studio is amazing and worth the drive alone. The glass blowing experience was equally awe-inspiring. Peter was patient, telling me prior to each piece what the sequence was, and he lended a hand when time and technique were critical to success of the piece. I absolutely loved my experience here today. I took my boyfriend for our anniversary and it was the coolest surprise I ever thought of. I was shaking and completely terrified because I hate heat and have an unnatural fear of getting burned. But Peter was very understanding and patient with me. He was very kind and helpful and overall was very relaxed in general. I always felt assured that it I would be fine and our pieces would come out well. I can't wait to pick up our pieces to see how they came out and we will certainly be back to make more in the future. I highly recommend that everyone have this experience...
