Awful would not be a strong enough word to describe this place of business. In the beginning everything was sunshine and butterflies, everyone was so nice to us and welcoming. The entire buying process was a breeze… after the house was moved to our land everything went downhill. Every single person that I have spoke with after buying the house has been dishonest. We bough a 2021 Scotbuilt mobile home in May of 2021. The house was delivered September of 2021 and is still not completely finished. Unfinished walls, marriage piece, baseboards, ripped floors, etc. My husband and I were told multiple times that someone would come out on multiple different occasions to finish the house, and of course most were no call-no shows after one of us had taken off work. Half of our house is only primed- never painted, counter tops already falling apart. Now to the grand finale of things- after not even living in this house for 2 years our air conditioner stopped working- great!! My husband called up to the office twice to check on our warranty (warranty that we were told we had for 2 years). The first call someone answered and claimed the manager was “in a meeting, they would call back when they got out”. A couple hours later, we never received a call so we decided people make mistakes we can call back. We call back and were told the same thing, again! A couple hours later we finally got a call back only to be told, no we don’t have a 2 year warranty, just one year. So once again we were lied to. So we bought out house from the about a year ago. Scott built and so far it has been great. Low country homes was easy to deal with they give us the best deal in the area but. Everything is good now as far as the actual house goes there are some things I may have would have wanted different but. That is Scott built problems not there's we did have a few hiccups like normal when you install a new home but with a little back and forth between LCH. We worked Everything out I will put this out there. There maintenance man. Welllll let's just say we let him work on our house 1 time and I was like not again. I ended up working out a deal with LCH and everything worked out fine. There installation crew was great to be honest I feel like the Spanish guy should be running that operation. Bc he was very helpful as to my questions etc... the actual guy running he is not bad just. Idk. Lol 😆🤣 but needless to say it was a overall pretty smooth process and everything worked out.
