While I have never felt the need to publicly share a negative review this time it is different. When taking your puppy (9 months old) in for what should be a simple nail clipping one does not expect their pet to endure physical harm. Yet that is what happened to my puppy. As soon as he was brought out to me and collapsed at my feet I knew something was wrong. I just didn’t know how wrong until we had to go for an emergency visit to the vet where he was treated for broken blood vessels in his eye and a bloody nose. It is the vet’s opinion, due to the nature of his injuries, that he sustained physical trauma. Upon communicating with the owner of the establishment, after our vet visit, she shared with me that he had been muzzled and was under extreme stress, this was never communicated to me at the time of service. When I asked why she did not stop and come talk to me, I was in the waiting area, I was told - ā€œMost owners just want us to get it done.ā€ While I do not know what else may have transpired while he was there I do know that was the only time he was out of my sight and the only time he could have sustained the injuries leading to the broken blood vessels. I understand some pets can be uneasy while getting their nails trimmed yet there is no excuse to ever muzzle an animal without consent from the pet owner much less an animal under stress as admitted by the...

We are so happy we found CCC! We first brought Daphne to CCC when she was about 7 months old as she was very shy around people and other pups so she needed to be socialized. Amanda was very reassuring that Daphne would grow to love Daycare and monitored Daph for the first few visits. She was right... Now Daphne gets so excited when we tell her she is going to "School". Amanda, Liz and team are AMAZING, they treat your dog like family. Daphne loves the staff and often doesn't want to leave when I pick her up. The cleanliness of CCC is impressive, there is NEVER a bad smell. I love that CCC decorates for all of the holiday's. The staff does fun activities too, like a Secret Santa and Valentines for the pups (so fun). The cost is very reasonable for daycare & spa treatments (love the groomer too!). We Love CCC and are so thankful to the team. If you are looking for daycare\boarding in the Barrington area, this is...

We boarded our two big and active Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 10 days at Canine Country of Barrington. I was a little worried because it was the first time I had to board my youngest dog and I was going to show her just a couple of days after we picked her up, but there were no need to worry at all. Both of my dogs came back relaxed, happy, healthy, and looking great! The dogs got a lot of exercise both physically and mentally when they were playing with all the other dogs. The facility is bright and clean, and they had a nice light room with comfortable beds ready for my girls. The staff was very kind and excited to get to know my dogs. Amanda sent updates and pictures of my girls under the entire stay. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a really nice and safe place to board your beloved dog. We will come...

Guess what Matt and I did today? We installed turf in the group play yard at Barrington Pet Resort! We are super excited for no more mud. This turf allows the grass to grow through, so your pups still get the enrichment of being able to smell the earth underneath! Your dogs are going to love it!!!!
