I selected this place because I am a Marine and the owner is a Marine. I like to support my Veteran brothers. I had to make an appointment to get my machine worked on. I showed up early and stood outside until at least 5 minutes after the appointment time before someone let me in. Then I didn't get to talk to a technician, but a receptionist who just took notes on a form. Then they didn't warn me before they wiped my machine out and I lost all of my data. The contract they make you sign has an indemnity clause in it that says even if it is their fault, they are not responsible for any damage or data loss to your machine. That is not standard contract language, even though the receptionist tried to say it was. I am in IT and contracts and it is not standard. Right off they were very helpful and had great suggestions. We wanted a Golden State warriors theme (Curry). The markets today for a gaming pc is a little high but they were more then fair on the prices. After a few calls and suggestions we decided on what parts fit us best for our build. Read moreMy 8 year old MacBookPro was no longer usable. The MBP kept shutting down and had problems coming back up. James at Cabala Consolidated was able to identify the likely issue and address it. The MBP now runs much more efficiently and much cooler and remains up for days at a time. I still run into an issue of the machine freezing up when too many apps are running but it is running much , much better and is usable. I will also add that I took my MBP down to the Apple Store and the Genius Bar Person did not diagnose the issue correctly and basically told me it would not be worth trying to fix. Thanks Cabala...
