Polk Street Community Center — Local services in Bartow

Polk Street Community Center will always get 5 stars from me as long as they keep up the excellent work. This center dwells within the community I grew up in. I've been in attendance since I was 6 years old, and thats why, today, I can look back and recognize that people really make the world go round. The people the City of Bartow put in position was on point from yesterday until recent. Haven't really gotten the chance to meet the new crew of people working there in the past 2.5 to 3 years. Grandson's team played here this week and the field was really nice. Lots of seating and large concrete area for chairs too. The hamburgers were thick and delicious, cooked perfectly on a griddle. One of the kids had a hot dog and it looked really good, also cooked on the griddle. Always fun to watch kids play baseball, and both teams had such great sportsmanship. Yay, for Babe...
