This is our second home that we are furnishing with appliances purchased from Lee & Jack's. I would venture to say that they are one of the Cincinnati-area's best kept secrets. They seem to get the majority of their business from word of mouth and repeat customers. As repear customers, my wife and I cannot see ourselves shopping anywhere else, for appliances. Unless we move outside of their delivery radius, they have made lifetime customers, out of us!
Yesterday we took delivery on our new refrigerator, washer and dryer. Evan and Nick were our delivery crew. They are the epitome of what you would expect in an appliance delivery crew. If Nick and Evan are setting the bar, you will be hard pressed to find a better crew.
This Dynamic Duo did everything that they were supposed to do and went above and beyond doing additional work that was in no way required. I know I'm missing a lot of so this is a just partial list of the work that impressed us: getting all the appliances in without making a single scratch on a doorway, floor or wall set everything in their respective places and put them together, hooked up lines, etc. with expert skill and efficiency modified out dryer door so that it opened in the opposite direction than originally manufactured so that it opened the correct way for our laundry room setup (washer is on the right and dryer on the left) went over all the new appliance functions with my wife and me so that we had a good working knowledge of all the features... they took their time and didn't just set up and leave they took our old refrigerator and moved it to our basement (which required them to take that one apart, carry it around the back of the house to the walk out and reassemble). * above and beyond example right there! * gave us all the warranty and other important paperwork in a nice packet so it will be easy for us to submit and file for our records we have a dog and an 18 month old running around and Evan and Nick were very good with both of them: being friendly, working around them and not making us feel like they were constantly in the way. Both our daughter and dog were sad when Nick and Evan left... they were all 4 instant best friends! :)
As you can tell, we have nothing but good to say about our delivery experience and the shopping experience is all good, as well. In every aspect, Lee & Jack's offers; a Professional Atmosphere with a Personal Touch, Product and Industry Knowledge, Low Pressure Sales, Excellent Pricing, and many more positive characteristics.
Lee & Jack's is a little slice of American Nostalgia... they are actually in business to help customers with their appliance needs and in my humble opinion, they do it the way it...
Read moreAfter a recommendation from Doug at A1 Appliance Repair, since some parts for our fridge are obsolete, we headed over to Lee and Jack's that same morning to look at new refrigerators. We asked for Wanda, per his recommendation. We gave her our dimensions and the type of fridge we were looking for. We looked at a few models. This little store was buzzing with residential folks as well as contractors and Wanda provided us an amazing level of service. We found a fridge that was also a nice upgrade from our previous model and it happened to be in stock. The price was on par with big box stores AND they were able to deliver same day. We had a new fridge, stocked and up to temp by 4:30 pm. So, on 2/2, we had our trusted friends @ A1 Appliance Repair let us know that our dying fridge would be costly to repair (Jenn Air & 15 years old). They recommended Lee and Jack's. We went about 1/2 hour after opening. We were in for less than 45 minutes, had exceptional service that exceeded our expectations and had a new fridge, temped and stocked back up by 4:30 same day. Chris and Anthony were an awesome delivery team, conscientious of their surroundings and very professional. We will be purchasing every appliance from Lee and Jack's and will recommend them to all of our friends going forward. Thank you for an amazing...
Read moreWe purchased a Maytag range in September 2016 and began having problems with the oven not heating up. When we called for service, we were informed there was a "local service center in Mt. Carmel" and gave us that number. The "local service center in Mt. Carmel" was actually a call center in Florida. The call center in Florida advised us we had purchased the Maytag range not in September 2016, but in 2010. Now, we had purchased "last year's model" unaware the year preceding 2016 was 2010. So, anyway, when I called back and spoke to Jeff, he informed me that the warranty was serviced by the manufacturer, hence the "local service center in Mt. Carmel", which is actually a call center in Florida. Jeff went on to tell me how they had been in business for 50 something years. I guess this just boils down to a local retailer selling a product to a local resident and then choosing not to take care of the customer. I'm thinking here, that if I was Jeff, I'd have apologized for the minor inconvenience, sent out a service technician, and dealt with the manufacturer, rather than having the local customer do all the leg work. Next time you need an appliance, pass by Lee & Jack's TV & Appliance and go to the "big box", where they send out their own service...
