Ohio Drone Repair was the best choice I made to repair my Mavic Pro! After a the wind took my Mavic Pro into a tree branch and resulted in a crash, my Mavic was left un-flyable. Looking at the sad customer experience DJI gives for drone owners, that was my last option. Doing some googling resulted in me finding Ohio Drone Repair. After reaching out to the owner I was courteously welcomed to get a free appraisal of the damage and repair. After dropping off my Mavic, I was kept in the loop on all the repairs that were necessary, along with all the troubleshooting he had done. In the end, he did his best to fix my Mavic, gave it all the new parts it needed (mostly the camera sensor and the left front arm) and credited me for the broken parts to reduce my bill. I was very satisfied with the way I was treated and how well he kept me informed. This experience felt much better than if I had sent it to DJI for repair, and received poor customer service, let alone not be a part of the appraisal service at all. I contacted Ohio Drone Repair with damaged Mavic 3 Pro motherboard. Due to DjI’s parts paring, using the serial numbers of the internal parts of their products, simply replacing the damaged part was not an option. I was looking at spending well over $2.500.0 to replace the Mavic 3 Pro. While speaking with John, one of the techs, he informed me of a prorated, new drone program. We discussed price and logistics and I was ecstatic to learn that a new drone would only cost $1.600.0 out of pocket. Ohio Drone Repair gave me credit for my damaged drone. As you can see the credit is very substantial. Dealing with Ohio Drone Repair, I found them to be very professional, good listeners and willing to go the distance to help me solve my problem. Good news, I’ve had them do a couple of repairs since the first time I was there and I’m happy to say they are still great. This is my original review.

I’m really surprised by the scale of their operation and the attention they give to a customer.

The place runs more like a doctors office than a store. Call for an appointment, you’re led into the “examination room” and they take a look at the damages and let you know the deal.

Prices seem fair and the turnaround time was great. You can ship your drone across the country but mine was done and returned before it would have even arrived at DJI.

I’m going to be picking up an FPV racing drone from them as well as some accessories for my Phantom 4 P.
