Food was just ok. I ordered the salmon dinner. The salmon was overcooked and under seasoned. The grits needed some spice/heat to balance out the sweetness of the honey. The presentation was lovely however. The fries were overdone and my sons side of fries took another 5-10 minutes to come out after our meals. We waited a long time for our food, which I understand considering they are a newer restaurant. Our waitress was very nice, but it took a long time to get our check. My husband left with our kids since we drove separately. I made the mistake of paying without looking at the check...they charged me $12 for a teeny tiny side salad for my daughter. My husband's meal was I think $18 and came with a salad. I didn't feel like waiting around longer at this point to try to dispute the bill. We love supporting local, but this place has some work to do.

We stopped in for lunch because we could smell the steak grilling from the road, &They had a great steak burger sandwich & fries. Was not disappointed. Service was excellent. The restaurant and outside patio was clean. Great place to stop by. Best part is you're allowed to bring your dog to the outside patio.

Great little out of the way spot. Nicely decorated. Great service, friendly atmosphere. Well made cocktails. Crab cakes were perfect. Red pepper risotto was a bit dry for my taste. Looking forward to exploring more menu options.

We visited NuVue for the first time last night and had a pretty outstanding experience overall. We will definitely be back again. After looking at the website, we were excited to check it out. When we arrived, I was concerned that we had made a mistake. Visually, the aesthetic was a bit cold, loud, and uninviting. I was feeling kind of dive-ish sports bar vibes-- not really in alignment with the more elevated feel of the website or menu. However, the noise and visuals were in stark contrast to the warm welcome we received from staff the moment we stepped in the door. Our server (Julie C.) was excellent. I appreciated her pacing and availability. The staff clearly works as a team, enjoys working together, and takes pride in what they do. Everyone who came to our table was lovely and engaging. They created such a warm and inviting atmosphere and really made us want to come back. We had the crab cakes appetizer with jalapeno tartar sauce- outstanding. The crab cakes were sweet and succulent with just enough filler to bind them together. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. The tartar sauce is a standout- I'd be happy to order a bottle of it to take home. Next we had Caesar salads- excellent again. Homemade dressing, delicious. The rosemary chicken sandwich was good, and the fries were fresh and hot. The ahi tuna with sesame noodles was delicious, and I was glad they offered soy sauce as it needed a bit more salt for my taste. I also had a dirty martini (well, 2 actually 😂), and they were both fantastic. The first one was a little too briny for me, and they adjusted the second perfectly when I asked. I think the space could benefit from some acoustic modification and a little more warmth visually, but overall the experience was fantastic. We look forward to...

I joined the staff this week for the much awaited grand opening . This community LOVES this place ! Opening week was even busier than we expected . Kitchen staff was the calmest most professional group that I have ever worked with in 30 years in the food and beverage industry! Front of the house staff worked tirelessly to provide the best customer service possible! That was extremely difficult because the place was flooded with customers from the moment we opened the doors… every single day !!! Service will smooth out in the coming weeks as the excitement of opening day calms into a more steady rhythm . Anyone dining in a restaurant during the first week of opening must always be prepared for hiccups in the production and service. In total I feel that this week was a huge success. We were all very grateful for the loyal clientele that were very patient with the service and expressed their joy in looking forward to their next visit. In summary , lots of deliciousness, love and good vibes were...
