Freed Auto — Local services in Battle Creek

I don’t often share public reviews but the kindness and experience I had at Freed Auto deserves one. As a young woman, you’re often warned of how people will take advantage of your lack of knowledge- especially in automotive. Freed is NOT one of those places. I called to explain a really simple problem I was having with a bolt, and Tim told me to bring it right up. Jason ended up being the one in the shop when I arrived, and said the exact same thing; no problem! He literally stopped what he was doing to help me fix it. Although it only took 5-10 minutes, and a couple tools - Jason went out of his way to make sure I left with working wipers right before the next winter storm. Which really stood for a lot more than a simple easy fix, even if that’s all it was to him at the time.

Not many people, especially businesses, in this economy will remember their humanity but this family does. If you need work done and they can do it, I urge you to use them as your mechanic. Support your locals. They will be my #1 stop anytime I have any repairs...

I brought my 1991 Honda Accord here to have it inspected for a busted water pump and a tuning kit they were very kind, fast and they gave me a decent rate. It was done in a week which I was extremely impressed by. Everyone I spoke with was very kind helpful and helped me understand what needed to be done to my vehicle. And on top of it when I called becuse my power steering went out they sent Matt, (so greatful for him and his work) out to my job to help me when my power steering went out. My car wouldn't start so I called and asked if I could have my car towed there. They answered all my questions. After they received my car they quickly figured out what it needed and went over that with me. They did the work fast and called to let me know it was done. When I picked up my car they went over the work they did and warranty info. I was in and out.
