Disappointing Experience – Unacceptable Treatment of a Customer On July 1, 2025, around 4:15 p.m., my girlfriend and I visited Time to Wing It. We witnessed an unsettling incident that has ensured we will never return. An elderly lady, a loyal customer, was at the counter speaking politely with the waitress. She shared how much she loved the restaurant despite receiving incorrect orders on her last two visits. She remained kind and pleasant, never raising her voice or being rude. When the waitress offered her a combo, the lady inquired about it, noting that her previous combo orders didn’t include a drink as promised. She clearly agreed to a drink with her order. However, when she asked about drink options, the waitress claimed she hadn’t ordered a combo and denied her the drink. The lady graciously accepted the misunderstanding, saying, “That’s okay, it’s not a problem.” She then requested her wings be well-done. Moments later, a man—presumably the manager or owner—emerged from the back and confronted her aggressively, insisting there was a problem despite her calm assurances that there wasn’t. She reiterated her past order issues politely, only wanting to ensure her order was correct this time. Shockingly, the man continued to challenge her, escalating a non-issue. The elderly lady, still composed, asked the waitress why she felt the need to involve the manager over a simple clarification. Feeling harassed, she requested to cancel her order and get a refund. Instead of addressing her respectfully, the manager rudely ordered her to leave the restaurant. She left peacefully, despite the unjust treatment. This was appalling to witness. The elderly lady did nothing wrong—she was polite, patient, and even praised the restaurant despite past mistakes. The waitress’s actions and the manager’s hostile response were unacceptable. A loyal customer deserved respect, not public humiliation. If Wing It has security footage, I urge them to review it and see the truth of this incident. The waitress should be held accountable, and the restaurant owes this customer a sincere apology. We regret not walking out ourselves and will never return to Time to Wing It. Potential customers should know how this establishment treated a kind, elderly woman who simply wanted what she paid for. Avoid this place until they demonstrate better respect for...
Read moreI've visited this place twice and the first time I walked in the 2 girls at the counter were on their phones, I was the only one in the restaurant at the time so I guess that's whatever but then acted like I inconvenienced them when I went to order. I ordered the combo meal which comes with fries that I did not receive. The BBQ sauce and the jerk sauce are actually really good, however the wings that they go on, not so much. Wings were soggy and unseasoned. The sauce saved them. My partner went to go pick it up on the 2nd time I decided to try them and once again my fries are missing, and Wings are soggy. I was going to give this place 3 stars for having such good sauce but poor quality food BUT AFTER READING ABOUT HOW YOU TREATED AN EDERLY CUSTOMER SO HORRIBLY I DECIDED TO CHANGE IT TO 1 STAR! I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN BASED ON THAT REVIEW ALONE! Good luck surviving in that location, it seems cursed and now after reading how you treat your EDERLY customers I will be rooting for you guys to go out of business. I wanted to like you guys since your right down the street from me but honestly nothing will bring me back here again. I will happily wave at your store as I head to Family Fare to get my own wings and make them better than you guys can manage at home for 1/3...
Read moreI came in from Kalamazoo to try something new. It would have been a great experience if the person that was waiting on me really enjoyed her job and not complain about how tired she was. It would have been a great experience if there wasn't so many employees just hanging out bothering the cashier taking the orders. Maybe my order would have been right. I called the business and spoke to the manager, he didn't seem to care. I spent 25.00 including tip. My free tip is Pay attention to the Customer and you will be in Business for a Long Time.
