Salvage Sisters, A Repurposed Store — Local services in Baxter

I actually touched 5 stars instead of one star, which is what i wanted to touch! I used to stop in Salvage Sisters Brainerd on my way to my lakehome up north. There was a good amount of tastefully refurbished pieces of furniture and things to buy. Now, they added distasteful, irreverent messaged signs and notes, some with the f... word! Never going back there and telling everyone I know how they've cheapened their name with low brow...

I've enjoyed the store in Waite Park, and recently checked out the Baxter store - which is great. I loved the variety of merchandise. The displays were easy to walk around without feeling crowded so I could take time to imagine how things would look in our home, and get ideas. The staff was friendly. The store was laid out with a long main aisle and small alcoves with items that coordinated with other things in the same area. Nothing was cluttered or jammed together, so it was easy to see and check out the prices. The employee was helpful and friendly. We didn't have enough time to see it all, but they change the stock to match...
