Hired this company to install a basic tub/shower. Smelled mildew ever since. Over $7k and a few months later, drain clogged. Drain wasnât P-trapped, waste and overflow shoe were back pitched so we were smelling waste water. Almost purposely negligent plumbing work that was never going to work but Iâd hope that isnât the case.. Had to have another plumber come and fix the issue and requested Schroeders pay the bill. I was told the âmanager wasnât in right now and theyâll call me.â Same BS I got when trying to discuss my project while it was ongoing. Posting a review hoping these people have a shred of integrity and will make this right. Absolute shame what theyâve done to the name of a longstanding local company.
Response to owner: I fired your company from the job, you did not âstop workâ, because your knuckleheads left my dishwasher feed line unhooked and it sprayed water all over behind my brand new cabinets when I went to run it after you âprofessionally installedâ it. You still billed me for the complete invoice even though you admit now that you didnât finish the job and had no intentions to. I had to negotiate the invoice down with your billing department to be charged for what shoddy work was actually performed, even if it was not done correctly, and still paid way too much for the quality of work I received. All I want is my repair bill paid and I think that is more than fair. If you refuse Iâll be filing a complaint against you and Keegan Voss of Lakes Area Remodels. Neither of you deserve a license to operate in this...
Read moreLong story short. Kinda. I have a restaurant. 40 year old otherwise great functioning Furnace has been dysfunctional for 2 months. Bad gas valve. Getting by with 2 gas fireplaces in the mild weather. Others have told me ithe valve is obsolete and my only option was a new furnace. I didnât like that answer and tried to solve on my own as any consumer shouldđ. Searched eBay. Contacted gas valve manufacturer who directed me to furnace manufacturer who directed me to Schroeders. Didnât even know they existed. Contacted them on Thursday. They listened to my situation, allowed me to give them the information I had without making me feel like an idiot, and told me they would discuss with techs and get back to me the next day. They contacted me right away Friday am telling me they had a suitable replacement in stock locally. They gave me a quote for parts and labor and told me Dustin would be out later in the afternoon and call me on his way. Dustin called me, showed up, and solved my problem. Approx $450 to get my furnace operating as it should instead of purchasing a new one! Boy was I happy. Canât say enough good things about my experience with Alyssa, Wendy, and Dustin. The kind of customer service they gave me is rare these days. I envision a fruitful relationship with them going forward. Thank you. Thank...
Read moreCalled Schroeder because I purchased all my appliances there and they bought out Phil's Heating how I've used for the last 30 plus years. The reason I called was to get estimate on how much they would charge to replace all my fresh water lines inside and outside of the house.
Cody stopped by and looked everything over and later that same day set me the estimate. The cost seemed far and about what I was expecting, so I agreed to everything without hesitation.
The day comes to start the project and they where right on time. Everyone was eager to get started and didn't waste anytime. The whole day everyone worked hard digging up the lines from the house to the main.
Very professional the whole time even when it started to get a bit warm outside. It ended up being about an 11 hour day. When they left for the day the whole was covered back up. Granted I knew going into this that I would need to do some landscaping afterwards.
Tomorrow we are doing the inside and I'm expecting the same professionalism as I experienced today.
Would I hire them again? No question in my mind, yes I wouldn't think twice about it. Good contractors are very hard these days to find. I've always experienced 110% and they have...
