I already wrote a review for USI but I guess Google lists them as separate entities. Pretty much everything I wrote for USI applys here. What I like about this range is that this is an outdoor range so you have much less danger of lead poisoning if you shoot often. I have elevated lead poisoning from too much indoor shooting. The biggest difference between indoor and outdoor range is that for outdoor range you shoot for 15 minutes and then you cease fire so everyone can go change targets or put stickers on old targets. Also usually there are only two distances for outdoor ranges whereas you can adjust distance for your target indoors. I like the range officers at USI and they are all nice. The price is $25 for nonmembers and $12 for members so it's definitely worth it to get VIP membership if you shoot often.

Today we enjoyed a day of shooting. This was my first time back since the pandemic. Everything was great except for the long line to enter. Sunday was a poor time to train a new guy with so many trying to weekend shoot. Once on the range, this place can't be beat. The range staff was helpful and they make the whole experience feel safe. We also liked the range manager. She is the heart of the whole operation.

This place is great, go early because the parking lot fills quickly. The staff is kind and gets you started fast at the front desk. The range masters are on point and are strict when they need to be. The range masters are very helpful so no one gets hurt while making sure foot traffic never becomes an issue. I appreciated their efforts

This is my favorite range, hands-down… there are closer shooting ranges to where I live, but I always pass those up just to go here. Most of the staff here are friendly and knowledgeable— I appreciate how they typically ask permission to provide feedback before doing so. I also appreciate how useful the feedback is each and every time.

This is an outdoor range with so much space. At other ranges, I sometimes I find the safety line to be positioned too close to the resting area designated for retreat to during cease-fire periods, making it almost uncomfortable during resets— I do not at all experience this problem here. In the pistol area, there are two distances to which you can set your target; in the rifle area, there are three.

About a year ago, they went up on their entrance fee from $20 to $25, which I find to be a standard rate.

In short, this is my favorite range in the Bay Area… I will continue to frequent this range, and would absolutely recommend this range...

As a complete beginner, I was a bit nervous stepping into a gun range for the first time—but USI made it an incredible experience from start to finish. The front desk staff, especially the lovely lady working there, were welcoming, friendly, and set a positive tone right away.

What really stood out was how understanding and helpful the range staff were. They kindly pointed out and corrected a few things I was doing wrong, but did it in such a supportive and respectful way that I felt more confident rather than embarrassed. Their guidance made a huge difference, and it never felt intimidating.

If you’re new to shooting and want a place where the team is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely wants to help you learn, I can’t...
