Holt's IGA Food Center — Local services in Bean Station

Will and Marian Hensley will no longer be shopping at Holts. They basically called me a liar i had bought tissue a bottle of water and raspberries. My dad I went to morristown straight from holts and i started eating the raspberries and found mold on them. I ended up calling them and telling them about the mold and he said come back and he’d exchange them. Now within the 7 minutes i was gone they couldn’t find my receipt and claimed i had bought cigarettes and paid with an ebt card. He was very rude and my dad knows him and didn’t understand why he didn’t come out and talk to him because my dad had given me a $20 bill to pay. My parents said that we will never shop there again after basically saying i was lying and it mad my dad mad. I don’t want to rate them 1 star i wanted it to be zero but it wouldn’t let me post unless i gave them at least 1 star. I will be spreading the treatment of the staff because i’ve had this blonde kinda heavy set female who was extremely rude to me. Also y’all are taking advantage of how the prices are. I figured since you was a family owned business you could relate to the every day man or woman instead of trying to make as much money as you can. You should be ashamed of yourself. Very disappointed in y’all. And mom and dad said they would tell what happened....

Wonderful grocery store with sales every week!! Meat Department isn't any higher on their prices than any other store. Small Town shopping & great store . Also it's a big plus that it's a full service grocery store!! It makes extra special for the elderly folks... This day & time it's not safe for them to be walking to their cars on their own. My Mother was followed out by some man at Ingles a few years back. It's gotten a lot worse since then. So, this alone says something about Holt's Iga !! "Full service" you want have to worry about someone bothering you or if your a women. Just had all this on my mind today and...

Although they do have good selections on foods & deals sometimes they are very expensive. I prefer to go into town when I can because it's almost always cheaper I know this is because they don't have another grocery stores around here so they don't have to compete on prices. They do have VERY friendly workers & it's the only store I know that will carry your groceries out for you. They do have a good selection of deli meats & cook food every day. There is meatloaf Monday, chicken liver Tuesday, Fridays is fish & they pretty much always have chicken wings, thighs,...
