I cannot say enough good things about this store. I drive all the way up here from Grand Rapids (a 3.5 hour drive) because of how absolutely wonderful the owner is and because of how great the deals are. The rocks here are so fairly priced that it feels like a complete bargain compared to other shops and even some rock shows. The owner is so friendly and helpful. She knows about every single rock she sells in her store and can identify it on sight for you. If you’re coming to Petoskey, don’t buy petoskey stones from anywhere else besides Bailey’s place. Not only are her stones the highest quality, they are at the lowest/fairest cost. All of the little shops in downtown Petoskey charge an arm and a leg for a decent stone. But Bailey is knowledgeable, sweet, and she clearly loves what she does. There is a large variety of polished and unpolished petoskeys in different sheens, shapes, cuts, and sizes. Gemstones, jewelry, paper weights and much more! My friend and I stopped in today with our daughters and were blown away by the stones here. The owner was so friendly and explained her work and the stones we were looking at. She gave us pointers for good rock beaches to search and even gave us a must see location in our visit.
