Terrible experience, not a single employee thought to greet us after making eye contact, or ask if we could use assistance navigating the store, most where standing in groups lolly gagging. The bakery and deli was a joke, walked in for lunch to find a slim, over priced selection with workers who never acknowledged our presence. After choosing a different route for lunch [ lunchables ] we where met with a check out clerk who was apparently afraid of speaking louder than 1 decibel and making eye contact. After paying way to much for water bottles and lunchables, guests what? All 4 lunchables purchased where expired. Seriously? I was using the self checkout station at approximately 4:30 on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. I attempted to ring up grapes and the self checkout said call for assitance and flashed its red light, and for the next 10 minutes I stood waiting for help, watching employees walk by and make eye contact. I hit the button to call for assistance a few more times throughtout. During all this, I had refrigerated stuff and freezer things thawing out. When someone finally came to help, he seemed irritated that he need to assist me. A lot of the people that work here have worked in this store thru covid, they are good people who unfortunately have to deal with a lot of rude, privileged and self entitled racist customers on a daily basis. It's sad how many people treat them hard working people like trash and that's not cool. ALSO if you leave a review on here complaining about reading negative reviews and vowing to never go there- then- please don't go there and be hateful to those nice people trying to make sure we are all fed in this town.
