I had taken an engagement ring setting that was previously purchased from K Scott Jewelers to the owner Mr. Scott in February of 2017 to sell for consignment since he said he had a consignment case set up where he was going to be selling gently used jewelry. I spoke to him about my engagement ring setting that no longer had a center diamond in it and he said that he would be able to help me sell it on consignment and would get the ring cleaned up and put a CZ in it for display purposes and that he would get me a contract for consignment so I would get a certain amount of money once the ring sold.
After dropping off the setting to be cleaned I waited a few weeks and contacted Mr. Scott in the beginning of March to see where things were at since I had not yet received my contract for consignment. He had let me know that he would be getting the contact to me shortly in the mail to sign and send back to him. Go to a few weeks later, no contract. I contacted him again towards early April to then find out that he had closed his store and was moving to a new location. I did not get any email or notification that he was moving and had I known this I would have gotten my ring setting back until he was up and running at his new location. I had sent him a message to see when they would be back up and running and to see if I could get my ring setting back. Mr. Scott replied back to me to let me know that he was working on his new location and that he would be able to get my ring from his vault and meet me at the restaurant near his old location for me to pick it up. I sent him a copy of the slip I received when I dropped my ring setting off and never heard back from him as to when I could pick it up. I tried contacting him several times and heard nothing back for the next few months.
As of late August Mr. Scott contacted me to tell me someone had purchased my ring setting and that he would have the money for me in early September. Since then I have tried contacting him to see when I can pick up the money for my ring setting and have heard nothing. I see he is now open at his new location but am unable to reach him to get the money I am owed for my ring setting. I have been given many excuses and the run around and am not happy with my experience at all. Do not do business with him. He takes a long time to get back to you and does not provide good customer service.
I was very happy when I got my engagement ring from him, but since then service has gone down hill. Despite the fact he had moved, he should have notified his customers instead of just leaving a note on the door of his business. I am very disappointed and will never do business with him again. Save yourself the trouble and go to a jeweler that can be trusted with your business because apparently Mr. Scott does not want business with the way he gives his customers excuses all the time. I have seen numerous reviews across the internet stating...
Read moreREAD BEFORE GOING HERE. TRUST ME I purchased and engament ring (custom made setting in platinum) Mr. Scott had taken a diamond out of another ring for the center diamond and had told me verbally and on the appraisal that it was .9K and that the total weight was 1.8k. All looked great to my untrained eyes!!! so as a happy couple we decided to go back to K Scott and have the wedding band made to match the engagement ring. im not sure what happend in that time frame but Mr. Scott's customer service went severely down hill and it took the better part of 2 months to get the band. getting it back the week before the wedding!!!! The rings were supposed to fit together and look as if they were one and they did not!!! I had to take it to a different jeweler to have it fixed which Mr. Scott arranged. for the repairs and covered the cost(hence the one star)
So fast forward a short time. divorced, got rings back and tried to give k Scott a chance to get them back. Mr. scot missed our appointment and had to find out that the were moved or moving he didn't seem very interested. I quickly decided to another jeweler where I was informed that the .9k /1.8total ring was in fact a .5K/1.3 total K. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!!!! THEFT BY DECEPTION hope this is...
Read moreI purchased my wedding rings back in 1995 from Ken. We have also purchased most of my jewelry from K Scott. I unfortunately lost my rings; we went to see Ken, it took a few times and I tried on some rings but didn't get the "this is it" ring. Ken was determined to find me that ring and he sure did. I absolutely love my new wedding ring. Stop by the next time you are looking for beautiful rings and jewelry you won't be...
