The lady working didn't acknowledge me until I said hello. There was very few authentic antiques. More repurposed & recycled items. Also new/cheaply-made furniture, lamps, etc (made in China) items. The prices were absolutely out of their minds....I have been to 44 states, including Hawaii. I have driven across country 4 times. I wouldn't consider this an antique mall. Had the lady been more amiable, my review of her disposition might have been more positive. She seemed like an unhappy woman. Smith mountain lake would be a booming area if the people who started businesses down there were more involved with unity and community. This hasn't been my first experience like this at the few businesses I have patronized at SML. Ironically I have been patronized by some of business owners during prior visits. The little girls found some neat vintage stuff to play dress-up. The women all got a piece of jewelry, and the men spent a lot of time perusing the "man cave" section. They even found gifts...
