Jarrettsville Furniture — Local services in Bel Air

My wife and I visited Jarrettsville Furniture 4/15/23 to shop for a mattress. I find most mattress stores and employees seem to be a little sketchy at best. We heard that there was a large selection of mattresses at Jarrettsville furniture. It can be a little decieving from the outside. The store is huge! The store is very well kept and has a lot of very nice furniture. They have a large space in the back with mattresses that is bright and clean. Our sales rep Hank was knowledgeable and friendly. We let him know what we were looking for and had an idea of what we thought we wanted. Hank showed us some options that are far better than what we thought we wanted/needed. He explained to us and showed us the differences in the mattresses and how they are built and why they feel a certain way. James the manager/owner was also very friendly and knowledgable. I'll return to Jarrettsville furniture for all of my furniture and mattress needs. We had a great experience. Go see the Stiars family at Jarrettsville Furniture, they will treat you right! No prices or ordering online, no one calls back or answers email.

I was looking to buy a piece of furniture, and I found one that fit my needs. Then the problems started;

The website does not provide any prices, the only thing it says is contact the store for more information. That gives you the hint right away that this is going to be a problem when they won’t even tell you how much the product costs.

While you can specify the size you want, the only way you can get information on it is to fill-in your email address and phone number so someone will get back to you. But days later no one got back to me yet.

The website does list a store phone number, so I called directly. That started another set of problems – an automated answering machine that gives you various options, but an option to talk to a salesman is not one of them, although you can talk to the service department or an operator. And that sets up problem two-when you press zero for operator, the first two times I called it said try later. I tried later, and then it just went into a doom loop. you press zero, if goes through the options, so you press zero again, and the option list starts again. no way to speak to actual human beings. Hopefully they will fix...

I wanted to take a few minutes to share my recent experience with Jarrettsville Furniture. For starters, when I arrived they immediately made me comfortable by not being too pushy or making me feel rushed. The next thing I noticed is the quality of the furniture is second to none. Once I made my selection, the purchasing process was super easy, the value of the furniture I bought was sold to me at insanely inexpensive price and it was delivered to me at my convenience. Overall, I would recommend anyone in the market for furniture to stop at Jarrettsville Furniture. Even if you aren’t in the position to buy a entire new room, stop in and you will be surprised at what some of the small accent pieces can really do to change the look of your home!
