Walmart Auto Care Center — Local services in Belen

I bought new tires here & everything was fine for about 2 months. Not really sure what happened, but all of them started going flat 1 at time, days apart. Started slow & during this time, I tried working something out with Walmart. They said it had to be an appointment & since I wasn’t buying anything more than just valve stems, they could make the appointment but couldn’t honor it when it came time. When I went in person, they gave me the same spiel but this time, they told me I could wait around for a few hours because maybe, they’d have availability. However, like most people, I can’t just wait around for hours. Especially for a maybe. I was willing to pay the cost for labor, & whatever items would be needed. But it seemed to be more of a willingness issue, rather than a $ issue. If it was one tire, then I could understand, but it was every single tire. I didn’t get too many details from the next guy I called, but all of the valve stems were leaking from the base. The 1 star review may seem harsh, but what are the odds all the valve stems start leaking from the base? I live in a secure area with allot of surveillance & my work is the same. Whether it was negligence, intention or a mistake, I think Walmart messed something up. I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere. These mistakes could cause serious accidents. The lack of accountability is dangerous & being unwilling to fix your own mistakes is baffling to me. Shout out to TBM Tires for fixing Walmarts mistake. I would not recommend this Walmart...

Had a great experience here. I had to go to Belen from the Los Lunas store because our battery was out of stock there. In the Los Lunas store the line was long and there was nobody at the counter. The phones were ringing off the hook and a worker from outside peeped hos head through the window to answer then went back to working on a car. He did this THREE times without addressing the people in line to tell us someone will be right with us or never called for help. After finally getting help we are sent to Belen and the gentleman "Arthur" helped us get the battery we needed and went out of his way to double check the size when we noticed our old battery was a different size. There were no lines and the employee was very nice. We were in and out in less than 10 min. From now on I will make the trip to Belen i stead of Los Lunas because I always have a problem in the Los Lunas...

Don't go through Donalds line. He will not sell me beer because my children are with me and they don't have an I'd, he has no personality anyway. The big male assistant manager with a ugly vest always asks me for a receipt when I pick up a script. I hate this wal mart. Worst experience every time. The jewelry dept is a joke. Grocery is ok. Electronic department is knowledgeable. Auto Center knows about as much as dirt and always put oil 1 quart less than full. The middle aged lady that was always in the garden center with the brades and thick glasses is very nice. They always follow my family like we are stealing! I hope this Walmart sinks in the sespool it was built upon. Pay the extra dollar and go to Lowe's in...
