This was a great stop at the southern edge of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The visitors center overlooks north and you can see the Painted Canyon. There’s a few trails that you can take. There’s long trails or one that is close to a mile. Slow down and stroll thru this incredible area of rolling hills and see some bison on some of the hills before you and then the unique shapes and structures of flow stones all around you.
