BISON BIKES — Local services in Bella Vista

I was in the market for an Aventon ebike and wanted to test ride both the Commuter 2 and Aventure 2. Upon checking out his website, it looked like he had both in stock. His website is great! He clearly listed out what his current inventory was and also had a lot of pictures and information. I honestly think this is a rarity when you compare it to other ebike shops around here that have just a basic page or two on the website with no real-time stock information. I'm someone who researches and over-analyzes every decision lol, so the more information the better.

When I got there, I was very impressed with his shop. He has a lot of different bikes and styles (ebikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, etc.) and also had a nice stock of accessories including Aventon's. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. He let me take my time and test ride multiple bikes. He has a good safe area to test ride at. I never felt pressured, rushed, etc.

After test riding, I knew the Aventon Aventure 2 was what I wanted. He also pointed out that if there are any warranty claims that arise in the future (2 year warranty on everything with Aventon's) that I could bring the bike to him, and he would completely handle it. Diagnose, order relevant parts, and fix it himself completely for free. That gave me piece of mind, while also knowing it was put together by someone who knows what he's doing.

He tweaked a few things I pointed out, got me checked out quickly and gave me some great pointers on how to load it in the back of my truck while personally helping me load it. The big selling points for me that made him stand out above the other local ebike shops were his website, the service (free tuneups etc.), and he's just a genuine likeable guy. I feel 100% confident that he will be there to answer any future questions I have while also being able to handle any service issues I need in the future.

I just left the same review on Yelp but also wanted to be sure it was here, too. I just picked up a new Yeti SB5 from Kendall, the owner of Bison Bikes, where he graciously met me at 7:30am on a Sunday morning. I was driving up from the Bay Area and it was 100% worth it!

As someone who's been riding road bikes seriously for 15 years or so and having move more into mountain biking over the last 5 plus years, I thought I possessed a decent understanding of how to make my way around my mountain bike - any mountain bike. Boy, was I wrong. I showed up this morning with the bike all set and just needing some basic fitting and then Kendall walked me through everything including setting up the suspension in detail, the rebound (e.g., front fork where no one else showed me where that even existed on my other not so inexpensive bike) and a number of other parts and adjustments. No one has ever spent that kind of time going over my bikes' operations at that level of detail and, even knowing that he was going off to spend the rest of the day with the family, not once did I feel rushed. Kendall would have clearly spent more time if I needed it.

Besides being immensely knowledgeable, Kendall is warm, practical and down to earth. His level of service is a standout and it's people like him that make you more than comfortable - and, pleased - with going out of your way to find and work with him. I have already begun letting my friends know about him and my only regret would be not living...

I was referred to Kendall at Bison Bikes by a co-worker who had purchased bikes from his shop. I made a quick call to the shop and Kendall was quick to answer my questions and offered to set up a couple bikes for me to try out.

I arrived at the shop and Kendall spent the time to go over the bikes I was interested in and adjust the suspension and seats for my size. He set up 4 or 5 different bikes and sizes for me to try. He told me about the differences and prices with no sales pressure only informative conversation. I left the shop with all the info I needed to make a decision.

After my experience with Kendall at Bison Bikes I had decided I was going to buy a bike from Kendall before I was even sure which bike I wanted. I made up my mind to purchase the 2025 Pivot Shuttle LT. When I went to the shop to pick the bike up Kendall had it all ready to go. He took the time to completely go over everything. He helped me select some accessories and a new helmet as well. He stayed open after hours to make sure I had everything I needed.

After the sale the experience has been nothing but the best. I have called and stopped by with questions or needs and Kendall has been quick to get everything sorted. I am super happy with the bike and even happier with my "Bike Guy".

There are many places in NWA to get a bike, they don't all come with a "GUY"!
