Coborn's Grocery Store — Local services in Belle Plaine

Up until recently, I was very pleased with this store, however, There is one employee who continues to be rude & unprofessional. At first I thought maybe they were having a bad day, it happens. After repeated poor interactions with the individual, I made a customer complaint. They gather personal information about you when these customer complaints are submitted. While I was never contacted by a store representative--While purchasing gas & groceries I was confronted by an employee!! Worse yet, my (assumed) private information was provided directly to the employee(s)! I am shocked and appalled at this grievous error. I wish I had known my private information would be divulged in that manner. After being confronted, I no longer feel welcomed at this location. I am writing this to let others know if you reach out with concerns....your personal information is not confidential and will be divulged directly to front line (non management) employees!

Update: my concerns were taken very seriously. Coborns management has done an excellent job reassuring me that this will not happen to me, or any other customer, again. My information was not purposefully divulged, it was inappropriately accessed. It is reassuring to know this is not their standard practice, and in fact attempts were made to keep my information private as intended. Coborn's grocery store is always clean and neat even the bathrooms are clean. They're skimpy on their deli they don't have too much there. But anyway they have pretty much anything you want. One simple thing I'm going to bring up. Not trying to do harm just a question? I hope that you Don't start selling that lab meat that they are making like chicken beef and so on it looks so natural people will fall for it but it's not healthy. I just pray that you guys don't sell that meat because people won't be able to tell the difference because it looks so real again I love coming here. It was a straightforward question not to do harm just a question about that lab meat that they're making now The reason behind some of that is they want to eliminate the farmers because they blame global warming which is not the case actually. Additionally why don't you guys get Earl's popcorn and cheese puffs that company is out of Savage Minnesota then I would not have to go to Jordan to get it at that grocery store again it's called Earl's they have popcorn they have cheese curls again I repeat there from Savage Minnesota you should have a little stand with them I called the company and they said they're at the Jordan grocery store so that's where I've been going but kind of silly when you guys...

I have Mixed feelings about coming here due to my previous experiences.

I recently visited this store, and while the overall experience was satisfactory, I feel compelled to share my concerns about the Deli section. Unfortunately, my visits to the Deli have been marred by the presence of a manager who displays unprofessional behavior.

It's disheartening to witness this manager publicly berating her employees, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and customers. On several occasions, I've observed her yelling at employees, leaving one visibly upset. It's not only unpleasant for customers but also raises serious concerns about workplace morale.

What's particularly troubling is the apparent lack of support from other team members when this behavior is happening, her colleagues often seem indifferent, ignoring the one lady as if she's invisible. This lack of teamwork contributes to an unhealthy work environment.

Harassment in the workplace is both ethically and legally unacceptable. It's my hope that the store management sees my review and addresses these issues promptly to ensure a more positive and respectful atmosphere for both employees and customers.
