08/06/24: I have visited the shop in the past and been very pleased. However, I called this past Sunday (08/04/24) to inquire about Monday's hours and was told by an employee (who was very pleasant on the phone) that the store was open until 6pm. I showed up at 5:36 pm and the store was closed. The voicemail message for the business indicates they are open every day until 6pm. The sign on the door says every day 11am-7pm. I show up again today (Tuesday) at 11:30 am and the business is closed. Please change your sign/voicemail message to reflect your correct hours and inform your employees. I got a gift certificate to the store and didn't know what to expect. Strolled in and was immediately overwhelmed by the wonderful selection! The gent behind the counter walked me through a personal tasting of about 10 different oils and I came home with four bottles -- and will surely be back as I didn't even get to the large selection of vinegars! We made a small purchase, paid in cash, and expected our change back. We waited and the employee looked down at the TIP JAR. More than $9.00 was the amount of change due back. That's quite a tip for ringing up a purchase. This establishment has JUMPED THE SHARK if your employees expect a TIP for ringing up a single item purchase.
