I recently started shopping at this Food Giant due to it's proximity to my work. I like this grocery. It's big enough to have most of what I need and small enough for quick trips when you only need a few items. The store seems to be well maintained and the staff has always been friendly. The hot bar is generally well stocked and finding a hot lunch is never a problem. My only complaint is that it is usually feast or famine in the meat department. Sometimes you find great steaks ready to go and others not so much. Overall I am happy with the store and will continue...
Read moreI have never had good luck with the produce I buy here. It always spoils with in a couple days. There is a cashier who is extrodinaly rude. She's a young girl who never wears a name tag. She never smiles or greets you. Speak in monotone will also have the nerve to especially if your paying with credit card will walk away doesn't say have a nice day or come back again...nothing and if you want a receipt you have to get it yourself she walks away. If she doesn't like her job it makes her that miserable she should find something that suits...
Read moreCheckout was a little slow but the staff is very friendly and helpful. This grocery store also has a few items I love to get that I can't find anywhere else.
As a bonus, I think they make the best fried chicken around. It is absolutely awesome! They also have plenty of sides in the deli department where you can get a very good meat & 3 for lunch or supper which beats the fast food burger joints hands down.
Food Giant has that small town grocery store atmosphere that you just don't find often anymore...
