The Clay and Barbie Campbell Family have been entertaining the masses of far; Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri and Southwest Tennessee infanitum. A unique approach to the fields of music and variety shows of the old time television eras of the; 1950s, 60s, 70s and so-on. Bluegrass, gospel, country and more! They will tickle your funny bone and tug on your heartstrings with; wit, wisdom, knowledge and insight--all done with the interests in mind to forget the outside world for a few hours and go home relieved of some stresses. Come on down to The Kentucky Opry, sit a spell (leave your shoes on, please!?) and enjoy the down home feeling of a time in life that's nearly been forgotten. God bless! P. S. Gearing up for a great season of holiday shows at the Kentucky Opry. They are truly special and unique.

We take the residents from Bright Life Farms here once a month... we've got close to 30 residents with varying physical and developmental disabilities and they are always so kind and accommodating and play definitely appreciate it because the Opry trip is one of the favorites!

What a great venue for concerts! Small enough to be easy access in and out, but large enough to accommodate a reasonable crowd. The first row IS a little low of comfortable viewing, but great for interacting with the performers!

Great to have a place to enjoy entrainment so close to home. The parking is on gravel and grass, but ample. The building is easy to find. The seats are comfortable and there is not a "bad" seat in the building. The concession stand needs an upgrade and if they would not charge so much they would sell more items for more profit. The staff are amazing and make it fun. The shows appear somewhat unrehearsed and issues happen at every show I have been to. I like the quirkiness of it, but not everyone that expects a professional show would like it. The stage could use some redecorating every now and then to change things up. The outside entertainment is top quality but the house band seems to take up too much time. There is great talent in the house band, but too long is still too long. Overall I have enjoyed all the shows I have been to. I missed out on some shows because they were sold out which is a good thing. My concern is, it feels that either this place does not make enough money or the money is not managed wellI. Egos can get in the way of good business practices. With minor changes/upgrades this place would be on everyone's mind as the go to for entertainment. Many of my friends have never been to this place but live close. Many of my coworkers didn't think it was still in business. In a technologically advanced world the ways to reach customers have changed. I think this change has been slow coming. This place is proof that you don't have to go to the big cities to see great talent. Which makes it a great treasure. Times are changing, but this place seems like they are stuck in time. I am voicing my criticisms because I want this place to thrive and do more. I hope it will prosper and grow. It is a wonderful place that I hope will be around for a very long time and at the same time be able to stay current...

We LOVE this place! Barbie and Clay are such amazing people. The KY Opry is celebrating 36 years in business this year. That's quite an achievement. Congratulations! We saw Gene Watson in concert last weekend. He was phenomenal, as usual! If you haven't been to the KY Opry, you are missing out! Thanks Clay and Barbie for bringing the the best entertainment to our area. Also, for having a wholesome, Christian, and patriotic environment to enjoy good music...
