I came in for a simple trim, just to get the dead ends off and I am very happy. I have natural long red wavey to curly hair (type 2b if that helps) and I love to leave it down. However, I do get long split ends after a few months. With this, the ends of my hair looks weird after it gets cut. I am very pleased with how it fans out. When I walked in, I just said I wanted a trim and she went at it after asking me a few basic questions. When I walked in here, I was a bit concerned- it didn't look like a technical beauty place. It's a former house, I got my hair cut in a small back room (there are other rooms, but those stylists weren't there) with a father and his son (who traveled from Lyons County just for her) in the same room. I'm very happy they cut not just women's hair. It was awkward but reasonable because it was Monday after a holiday weekend. I am lucky they were open and I would recommend it if you are looking for something other than a mall hair salon. The woman who cut my hair was very friendly, and she kept a conversation...

Called an hour or so before I went in to confirm they can take a walk in, I usually get my hair cut once every couple years and the previous place I used went out of business. They said they had availability for a walk-in for what I wanted (just cutting my hair shorter). Walked in from the parking lot, sat in what I believe was the front lobby for 30 minutes. Nobody was there, nobody came up, no attentiveness. Saw a 2 customers leave around the 15 minute mark and hoped someone would come to the front. Ended up leaving and going down the road to Choppers and got what I needed in less time than I waited for this place...

I asked for a trim, and she absolutely destroyed my hair. I had shoulder length hair when I walked in and came out with my hair no longer than two inches all over with all kinds of layers in it. She cut it SO short. It was the older lady in the back, do NOT go to her. She will give you the most atrocious haircut you have ever had. If you're not a regular they send you to her. So go anywhere else. It's been over a year and my hair is still recovering from that crap. She needs to retire...
