Marshall County Public Library @ Benton — Attraction in Benton

Can't boast enough about this place!!! I drive from Dexter (Calloway county) because this is THE BEST library around. The staff are always so kind and friendly, great at communicating renewals and due dates, and very helpful answering general questions. I often use the computer lab at the back of the main room, which allows sign-in via library card. It's a nice quiet but not silent environment where I can work on projects or just enjoy the fast Internet connection! I have even asked for a DVD to be added to the collection and it was within a couple weeks. Very very pleased. Even the restrooms are some of the cleanest public ones I've been in. All around good setup. Trying to come up with an excuse/plan to get something from their 3D Printing Lab...

I love my library. They offer so many services beyond books.

If you're in need/ want of almost any media service; if you want to use a computer; if you need a meeting/study space; if you want to make something (they have almost an entire floor dedicated to the creative types with very nice equipment that they will teach you to use); or if you just want to read... check out the Marshall County Public Library @ Benton.

The other 2 branches (at calvert city and Hardin) are also amazing, but Benton holds my heart.

The new library is finally open but limited hours due to COVID 19. Presently they close at 4:30 and ask you use viral precautions if visiting.
