I had to go to this store 5 times instead of something that should have just been 1-2 trips. I don't think everyone that goes to this store has experiences like these, but my experience was incredibly difficult and I am a very easy person to please.
I ordered a new iPhone 15 on the phone with Verizon customer service and they directed me to pick it up from this location if I wanted it sooner. I went to the store to pick it up, and they said they had no stock (just sold the last phone that I wanted to someone in store), and to come back next week when they should be getting more in stock (even though Verizon customer service on the phone said I had to pick it up in 3 days or my ordered would be canceled). So I went back a week later and to no surprise, my order was cancelled and they still did not have anything in stock. They tried to give me a phone that was reserved for a different person's order, but were unable to cancel that person's order to give me that phone. They ordered a different iphone 15 than I wanted to get shipped there which was the only choice I had if I wanted a new phone sooner.
So then I went back a few days later to pick up the new phone around noon on a weekday and the door was chained closed. The sign on the door said "Be right back". I waited for over 30 mins and no change or answer from inside. I had to leave to go back to work. I went back the next day (not around lunch time) and was able to pick up my phone. I wanted to do the transfer of my old phone to new phone myself so I agreed to come back within 30 days to trade in my old phone.
I went back a week later to trade in my old phone. They took it and ensured they would send it to wherever it needed to go. Turns out they didn't send it back for 4 WEEKS! It just sat there for 4 weeks, thank god they didn't lose it and actually sent it back. Verizon requires you to send back a traded in phone in 30 days, and this was over that limit. But Verizon didn't charge me anything extra because of it.
I feel like reserving an order, giving accurate information to customers, and sending back a traded in phone should be easy things. Locking doors for over 30 mins is insane without a sign on the door saying when they would be back. The people were nice, but gave me false information which made me have to go back to the store way more times...
Read moreI'm usually not the guy to write a negative review but my family and I have had nothing but terrible service from this store and its staff and after the treatment I got today frankly I've had it. I don't particularly like phone companies to begin with; I hate verizon only slightly less than I hate sprint, at&t, and Vermont's premier provider Consolidated (non)Communications. This particular verizon location though is easily the most WORHTLESS. STORE. ON. THE. FACE. OF. THE. PLANET.
My list of gripes includes: -deleting a plan without asking -failing to initiate a plan when asked -a total lack of support of any kind -being lied to by staff multiple times -severely inconsistent hours
Today I was told by an employee (who closed the store 3 hours early) that their location is only authorized specifically to sell verizon plans. Not to trouble shoot said plans when things inevitable fail, not even to sell phones, or hardware of any kind, and under no circumstances to provide even the most basic of tech support (like a turning a phone with a broken power button on). When I asked what other locations I should try for tech support I was told to go to Small Dog electronics in Burlington.
Don't waste your time with this pathetic excuse for a shop. Go to West Leb or Burlington, but definitely call ahead...
Read moreI had been dealing with an LG Android that wouldn't hold a charge and was running out of storage. Couldn't upload my photos to my 10-year-old laptop running Windows 7 to free up space despite everything I tried based on the Verizon website's help instructions. Went to this Verizon location on the advice of my hairdresser (!) instead of a much larger store nearby that I had previously used. The service was fantastic. This time I opted for an iPhone instead of an Andriod that I've always had. The extremely competent tech uploaded all my photos to Google Photos and to the iPhone/cloud, had me bring in my laptop to make sure all was working correctly, and went through the setup and a demo of iPhone features and operation. (When I bought my last Android at the larger store, I was referred to the Verizon website to learn the phone's features.) Buying a cell phone is as painful as buying a car--you so look forward to the new toy but the purchase process takes forever. It did take several hours because they were so accommodating so this time it...
