U.S. Bank Branch — Local services in Bethalto

This Bank gave my 82 year old father a loan when three other Banks he belonged to would not because they all knew he was being scammed and had been being scammed for approximately three years before he took out a loan at US bank now US Bank even though my father has been gone for two years they still won't get ahold of my lawyer nor myself after. Dozen and dozens of emails to US Bank lawyers and they still won't get back but now they want more than what the original loan started double over double what he owed how convenient that a big lawyers won't get back to you so that it just keeps going higher and higher and higher I mean to me this is worse than the scammers this is a bank that your suppose to trust why else won't they answer any emails I have like 8 police report I have a letter from the postmaster from the pharmacy from neighbors from salons I have all the proof that all these people knew my father was being scammed and the only ones that seem to didn't know was US Bank pretty convenient...

2nd update: I closed my account out. Never got to talk with anyone about my experience that initially caused me to close my account. On top of all that, I get a notification from my phone that US bank has checked my credit for a credit card over a week after I closed my account! I called and they said they made a mistake and would try to fix it. A week later a get a person from us bank that calls me and asks how my new credit card is treating me. I would deal with another bank.

Update: I sent the email, was very thorough in my explanation.I never got a call from anyone.

Tried calling two times to set appointment to go inside and pull money from my account because my debit card was lost last week and the new one had still not came in. Asked me if I instead could stand in front of the window outside in the drive thru. Great way to start a day, I’ll be opening a new bank account...

I would never trust US bank in Bethalto to do business. My mother posted a review a couple months back regarding a situation with my grandfather. He was being scammed by people from foreign countries and had already lost nearly every dime he had due to these scams. He had been to three different banks in a short period to try to get another loan. Not one bank would consider giving him a loan except US Bank in Bethalto. He has passed and now our family is dealing with the mountain of his financial troubles. We are trying to save his house and our lawyer has contacted US bank MULTIPLE times. Several phone calls and emails and no one has yet to receive a good answer. Now the balance owed on the house has gone significantly higher while we have tried to straighten this out. Again, I would not trust a bank who clearly didn’t do their due diligence when giving an 80 year old man...
