Highly satisfied first-time customer here! I was suddenly having trouble connecting my Dell Inspiron laptop (2009 model) to my home WiFi network. After doing some research online, I tried to resolve the issue on my own but I was unsuccessful. Contacted Microsoft and found out that I would have to pay a fee just to speak with a tech service representative. Got off the phone and went on Google to search for computer repair shops around the Danbury/Bethel area and stumbled upon Bethel IT Services, and after seeing all of the amazing reviews that customers had left for them, I knew that I would be in good hands if I reached out to them. Called Bethel IT Services just a couple of hours before they closed on Saturday (August 8th) and I had the pleasure of speaking with Chuck who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient with me as I was explaining the issue I was facing with my laptop. Dropped off my laptop at Bethel IT Services on that same day and got it back in just a couple of days with the WiFi issue completely resolved. They also gave me daily updates on the diagnosis and repair processes. No gimmicks, scams, or unnecessary up-sells. Chuck and his team demonstrated nothing but professionalism, honesty, and friendliness. I will absolutely make sure to return to Bethel IT Services for all future computer issues/concerns. Avoid repair services at big-box stores, and support local businesses. Thank you, Bethel...
Read moreI'd never taken my computer somewhere before - and now that I've been to Bethel IT Services (Bits), I wouldn't go anywhere else! My desktop computer had been having variations of the same problem - dumping me off line - for a while but I'd been able to finagle my way through it. Switch from one Frontier account to the other, troubleshoot as admin, reboot, all the various tricks when my internet signal would drop with no reason, but at the fault of my computer, not Frontier. Then yesterday - nothing worked! Plus I was getting new messages! Googling on my laptop to try to fix it wasn't yielding anything that brought any results. Teensy budget necessitated all my own efforts first. So I called these guys. Curtis was hugely helpful over the phone and was going to walk me through some stuff, but I was pretty sure it was stuff I"d done, so I just brought it in. Price was reasonable and well worth it if I had the problem solved, which Curtis said he was pretty sure he could do based on what I'd told him, or he said he'd know immediately if it was a hardware problem on my end. Sure enough not only did Curtis fix the problem but then both he and the owner asked me some other questions, gave me some additional info, peered inside my computer, blew out all the dust - and I learned quite a bit while I was there. It was money very well spent. Thank you,...
Read moreMy hard drive randomly died one night. After barely looking at it, I was told by the technicians at a bigger chain company that it was impossible to retrieve any of the data. My granddaughter looked up local computer repair businesses and was impressed by the reviews this place had. She suggested very strongly that I called BITS. After calling and making an appointment, I was told to bring my computer so they could look at it. I spoke to Curtis there, he explained that he could try but he believed he could help me. It took a few days, but he was able to retrieve all of my important data and reinstall Windows on a brand new SSD that he installed for me. He also gave me instructions on how to back it up for the future. Curtis is the most professional, friendly, and dedicated person that I have met in the last 20 years. Anybody who has a problem with their computer, the only place to call is Bethel I.T Services, they...
