Nasty elderly woman working here, stopped for peaches, they were covered in fruit flies and heavily sprayed with pesticides, the peach fuzz was so covered it was white/chalky looking. Peaches were old and most beginning to rot. I asked if I could look at ones that didn’t appear to be covered in flies and so heavily sprayed from behind the register she refused stating they’re all the same & didn’t care if she had my business or not. Peaches rotting moldy & covered in strange hairs should not be over $8, $15 etc Last year’s crop were all rotted at the pit and flavorless. This use to be like a tradition to go every summer thru peach season sadly our family will not be returning.. *in response to Scholl’s my family has been coming there since I was a child specifically so we don’t have to buy grocery store peaches. Even after the bad batch of peaches we bought last year we still returned again this year. Your help should be treating customers like gold not telling them they could care less if they have your business. The elderly woman should have been more concerned about the fruit flies than having issue with us wanting to pick from your crop that was on the floor esp after the money we spent the previous year. After dealing with her, the fruit flies and the appearance of the peaches Scholl’s has lost a life long customer. I will add the younger ladies working there 5star, they are always so kind and helpful, the elderly woman could learn a lot from them or maybe replace her with someone who...
Read moreI pass this place everyday on my commute. My co-worker had a bad experience here but I thought I would give it a shot as it was apple cider season. Unfortunately I had a similar experience, the staff was quite rude. I saw that they offered Venmo as a form of payment but when I asked I was immediately met with hostility and given a long lecture on why I should always use cash. I understand cash is better for small businesses but the way I was treated after the exchange was almost with disgust, even after I offered to pay more on Venmo to cover the tax. I told them that I left my wallet in the car as I planned on paying with Venmo so I had to go grab it, I left the cider with them but they kept side eyeing me like I was trying to dupe them or something. I came back and paid and was quickly dismissed. It was all rather unpleasant. The Cider itself was tasty but after that experience I don't think it...
