Human Nature 18 — Local services in Big Beaver

DO NOT GO HERE If I could give no stars, I would. As soon as you walk in, there is an announcement over the loud speaker telling you, you must purchase $5.00 or more or will be charged a $5.00 browsing fee. Okay, fine. Would've spent more than that anyway. Then your greeted with, "Lets see some ID", again fine. But then your ID is scanned. When I asked why, I was told its to keep everyone calm. I didn't understand at first, then realized it was so if someone steals, they have your information, so I said exactly that. I was then asked to leave, which I gladly did but not before telling him I was going to leave a review of this encounter. He then announced over the loud speaker outside as I was heading to my car that "I'll be sure to leave you a bad reviews also, because I have all of your information." He indirectly threatened to use my personal information, in retaliation....

My husband and I stopped in last night and it was a pleasure meeting the owner! We had been wanting to visit a store like this, but felt uncomfortable going just anywhere. Checking online didn't give us much to choose from, as most places just didn't seem like a good fit. Reading the reviews for Human Nature 18 really made this store stand out to me! The negative reviews were actually the biggest reason that we chose this place! We were absolutely not disappointed! The store was clean and tasteful, and we had a great chat with Michael! He was down to earth and very helpful! We also met Midnight, the shop kitty, who was quite a charmer! I love that they charge a browsing fee, because it seems to do an excellent job of attracting the right kind of customers! For anyone who left bad reviews, your advice helped us to choose to shop...

Don't go there. Me and my wife walked in to buy a toy. As soon as I walked in he asked for ID. I politely said why do we have to show ID. He responded with to keep everyone calm. As he was responding my wife's ID just got scanned. Then I handed him mine as I was asking what do you mean keep everyone calm? Then he handed my ID back. When he had both of our IDs scanned he said if you don't like it you can leave. I responded with it's fine I just never had to show ID in an adult store. He responded with leave I don't want you here. I said I want to make a purchase. He said no I want you to to leave. So I said to him I'm going to leave you a bad review.
