Not too happy when they told us they made the decision to order the more expensive base without our consent that we decided against because “it was about the same price.” The only reason I was told was because I noticed the remote was different from the one they had told me I bought on the day of the sale. They then proceeded to tell us the Memorial Day discount wasn’t applied and took off the extra expense of the higher end base as a cover up. I only know this because on my original receipt the discount was already applied. We ended up getting the higher end base for the price of the cheaper one, but I find it really annoying that they tried to screw us over because of our age and lack of experience.
Edited to add response to reply: I don’t think you understand what I’m trying to say. The day we bought the base we had agreed on the less expensive base. The salesperson put on our receipt the most expensive one (the one ordered) and told us that it was the less expensive one. The only reason I noticed a difference when we went to pick it up was because the remote was way fancier than the one I was shown how to use the day we bought the bed and base. When I mentioned it, the salesperson said “it was about the same price.” And there was an applied discount of $484.50 on the original receipt. We were told that was the Memorial Day sale discount. Maybe it wasn’t added in your system but I have physical proof on the original receipt. Read moreBuyer beware when you are shopping at this store. My 85 year old mother walked out of this store with a $3075 purchase yet her credit card was charged $3600. This error went undetected by the store for six weeks due to incompetence and poor business practices. The store manager was very rude (boy was she high and mighty with a true chip on her shoulder!) and could not figure out the discrepancies. After waiting 3 days for a call back from the sales person I had to visit the store a second time and the final explanation provided to me was based on internal jargon which no customer should have to hear. Customers are not employed there and have no idea what an A invoice is or what an X product code means. They also assume that if you have a credit balance due to their error, that you just want to keep that balance for future purchases...fraud?? During my visits to the store, I was provided several different copies of mother's purchase invoice, each time showing different purchase amounts. They even produced an invoice for $125 sheets that my mother supposedly took with her the date of purchase. This did not happen!! This whole business transaction was fraudulent on the stores part! Bottom line is they took advantage of my elderly mother (borderline elder abuse???) Worst customer service experience ever and two months later I still do not know if the issue is resolved!! Only good thing I have to say about this business is that their delivery people were super nice and very efficient. When I ordered Dennis said they should be in around the first week of May, which is perfect because I have family coming in in June. I received multiple messages after saying that they are experiencing delays but that my order would be in by June. I received another phone call from Sarah saying that, unfortunately the bench has been delayed until August. The chairs came in this past week (end of May) and I went to pick them. I asked if I could purchase the bench, due to limited space additional chairs would not fit. Sarah offered a few alternatives, but I could not pay even more money for the alternatives. So we left disappointed. When we got back home (which is a good distance from Billings) my husband started to put the chairs together and in one of the boxes all 4 legs were labeled " right " and so now I am down a bench (which seats 3 or 4) and a chair.
