The Hair Depot Supercenter — Local services in Birmingham

I literally give zero stars. Me & a friend of mine went in this store to look for some clip in extensions, the owner gave me & my friend the pack(s) we asked for from behind the counter. We walked around for a bit, maybe 15 minutes, because i couldn’t decide whether i wanted to get them or not. I felt like they weren’t a good match so i walked around while i tried to decide whether to purchase them or not. Almost $200 dollars isn’t just change to me so i wanted to be sure. I asked my friend if she wanted to go to another beauty supply store to see if they had a lighter color. So we put the extensions on the counter where he gave it to us. Right after i sat them down he came up to my friend & asked where they were, she told him i put them on the counter so she told me to grab them and show him which i did & he made a big scene saying we needed to leave & get out because he knows what were trying to do. & mind you there were multiple people around. & we both looked at each other because like wth is he talking about. It was actually wild. Idk if it was because we were the only two white people in there, i’m not sure what his problem was but we did absolutely NOTHING to this man for him to treat us the way he did, kick us out, & assume we were up to something. It was just bad...

It's large with a huge selection to choose from. Nice people however, a few don't speak English didn't understand my questions. I used a form of Charades that helped. Don't stay too long like my friends and I. We noticed they were watching and following us. It was very obvious and uncomfortable. We didn't spend as much as we normally would have because of that. One of my friends put back what she had chosen and then shared, Sis, let's take the rest of our money to Beauty Trendz." So we did and found what we were looking for in less than 15 minutes. It was cheaper, we stayed just as long, we weren't followed or watched. My fiancée gives me a $100 for my shopping 🛍 ☺️ trips when we have our 'Girls Day out shopping and lunch'. I think this store is great. The store has a huge inventory of about anything you need in the hair market. However, i would like to say that i recently bought three packs of Naked Human Crochet Hair for around $200. I was so disappointed when i installed the hair that I immediately took it out. The bundles were not sufficient to cover my entire head, as the hair was very thin. Not sure if the hair was bought that way from the manufacture or if it was just that they way to have you spend more money to have a full head of hair. Therefore, I would such to all crochet lovers to stay away from this brand of hair. Other than that, i think the store is awesome and has everything you would need...
