The Bisbee ACE Hardware is exactly like the commercials showing excellent customer service! When I walk in along with my little dog, Ethel we get that "Cheer's TV show" welcome with either Johnny or (young) Wayne shouting my name followed by a greeting as they see me in the store. I feel valued as a customer. Wendy, the store GM also is keen in coming up to greet me when I'm strolling around the store. Bonnie is kind and always makes a point to give my dog a "Hello" during our checkout process. The entire staff is top notch in my book. They do care and it shows!!! When you see a place where the employees are long term this says a lot about the excellent leadership this place is under.
This store is about 4 miles from where I live in Bisbee. Another hardware store is just half a mile from me. I drive the 4 miles because of the knowledge and service I get from this ACE. I only use the other hardware store where knowledge and service skills need much improvement only as my last resort.
If ACE needs to make another commercial then the Bisbee ACE Hardware and its team should be the location they make...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to Bisbee with family a friends for a quick weekend getaway in the RV's. We stayed at a fun little RV campground just above the Queen mine tour. When we got there, I realized I didn't have my 50 amp to 30 amp converter. We are all in class A motorhomes, so no way to drive the 6 miles into new Bisbee to get the needed part. I called Ace hardware and asked if they had the pigtail I needed. Indeed they did. I let them know I had no way of getting to them and asked if there was anybody who would pass by our way on their way home. They sent somebody immediately with the part in hand!! I was so overly impressed!! You just don't get this kind of customer service anymore. I have always loved Ace, but this just gave me a huge reminder of why I loved them in the past. Bisbee Ace gets an A+ from me for their above and beyond customer service skills!! Thanks again to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of two hardware stores in Bisbee. It's a good store and the staff in particular departments are helpful which is what brought my score up to a 3 out of 5. Now for what brought the score down... The young girls working the registers by the doors act as if they're doing you a favor. They're the first people not to greet you and the last people to see you out the door. I've tested this theory on many occasions by cheerfully saying "good morning" as I come in only to have them glance up.(with no customer) and saying nothing. Even tested as I left. Would walk up and say "good morning" & "how are you today?" and have only received either a "are you a rewards member" & "will that be all?". If you hate your job then find a new one... I have a daughter who would love to have that job and is very friendly....
