Bisbee Y Thrift Store — Local services in Bisbee

MARCH 2022.

The thrift store has been a regular stop for me, for many years. Until recently i would have given them five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My recent visit there was quite negative, however... & the Manager called me to (?) after I left a message on how I was "shamed" & treated with CONTEMPT by two people working there. He did not offer any thing but COVID, PAST THEFTS, & UNCLEANLINESS * that had NOTHING to do with me- nothing ... But offered no apology for the condescending employees that humiliated me that day. Not a manager- by known standards, he insisted the problems of other customers had to be justified by their revenge on me- when I did nothing wrong. They were wrong, rude & inhumane to me. I do not know why he returned my call, except to...

I bought a leather shoulder bag/purse/satchel here years ago. You can tell it's hand crafted, not mass produced. I paid $10, which is a big purchase for me, lol, but I was on vacation, so I splurged. I still have the purse, use it daily, and receive complements on it ALL THE TIME. That purse was a great investment.

I also bought a 100% cotton sheet here, but it's long gone. It did not have the longevity of my purse.

In any case, I enjoyed shopping here and would go back in a heartbeat if I were...

The kids working here were fun and super helpful. Because of that, I walked out with a big basketful.

Margarita glasses, martini glasses, cute bunny salt and pepper shakers & a green serving platter for my tea parties, a cookbook, various fun & interesting tea light candle holders, and some ceramic nicknacks that were 50% off-- like a shiny black bear to add interest to my butterfly...
