Family Fare Supermarket — Local services in Bismarck

First time visiting since they switched from Dan's to Family Fare and it seems they have some shady business practices. Picked up a few things that were listed as on sale but when I went to checkout it didn't give me the discount price. I asked the cashier why I wasn't getting the discount and he went to check to make sure I had the right items. After returning he said that I had the right items and should be getting the discount. He called his manager over to ask about the discount to which the manager said that you only get the discounts if you are part of their member program and asked if I signed up. When I denied I was informed I would not receive the discount to which I told the manager that is some deceptive business practices to advertise a discount but not tell people until they get to the checkout that it is only if you are a part of the member program. In a snarky tone the manager responded with "Yep" and walked away. Between the shady business practices and rude management I won't be shopping at a Family Fare...

Becareful. These workers are uncontrolled by managers, or the managers encourage them to be racist and discriminatory. At checkout we received no help. But when the white folks started coming through they were waited on with all the courtesy of a good business. The bag boy named Tyler, got in my way deliberately so he could help someone else even though he seen me coming through. This was not distraction, this was not him just “doing his job”! If his little friends weren’t standing and watching and laughing about it maybe I might have said the same. This was blatant and in your face. On wed Sept 3 2025 I was there and a liquid was spilt all down a aisle up to a checkout it appeared to be milk or something white in color as I walked to the front all 3 cashiers were standing there talking and I said to them that there is a trail of liquid spilt and it was like 3 feet from them and one of them should get a mop and clean it up (for I'm thinking u have time to talk u have time to clean) they say to me uts not our job and leave it at that I then told management and hopefully something was done about it but I wonder since this place was bought by family fair from another company I've seen this store especially become more and more dirty and more and more a...
