I can only share my experience with Harrison's Travels SC and you can be the judge of future dealings with this business owner. I booked Mrs. Harrison for my 50th birthday trip to Punta Cana in September of 2022. I planned for this trip 7 months ahead of time. From the start, Mrs. Harrison had the destination as Jamaica for the longest before it was corrected on information relayed to my party. I guess I should have taken that for a sign. Numerous phone calls, emails, questions about aspects of the trip went unanswered for weeks at a time or responses were given that did not even answer the questions. The itinerary with ALL the trip details/links disappeared the night before the trip. Senseless!!! When we arrived in Punta Cana, two of my companions did not even have the room they paid for and she quickly sent funds to try to rectify the grave mistake, but after much inconvenience and embarrassment. They still ended up staying a night in a room that was below the standard of the room paid for, initially. On the day of the excursion, pre-paid, there were issues with what company and the pick-up time, which was frustrating. Then, to top it all off the pre-arranged pickup to the airport back home NEVER showed up. My party and I ended up having to call a taxi cab for $80. From start to finish booking with Harrison Travels was a disaster! I received the $80 back for the taxi, a meager apology, and Mrs. Harrison paid some of the cost for a massage. To me, this was not enough to account for all the wasted time that was spent on details she should have had covered as my travel agent. My experience with speaking with her about resolving some of these issues were that Mrs. Harrison is very condescending and likes to dodge blame for her shortcomings. She is very unprofessional (getting attitudes & accussing me of having spoken to her once, when in fact, I did not) and people wonder why you are forewarned about supporting black owned businesses. I spoke my truth about my experience with Harrison's Travels SC. You be the judge as to if you would be willing to patronize her business after this review.

So the trip was posted as an all inclusive trip pay this one fee but you have to fly out from jfk. So I reached out to her asking her when would that flight leave but never heard a response. So me and the two other travelers purchased our flights to jfk and then 30 days before we were due to be in Greece she emails us asking us did we have our tickets booked to Greece? So after we spoke up and was like no maam thats not how that was advertised. Now she back peddling saying she got multiple clients going. So she books last minutes tickets from jfk leaving at 8pm which made me have to cancel my flights and our room coming to NY and rebook. Essentially losing out on 600$. Then her advice oh just use your travel insurance, she lied and said she would help maneuver the process. I never hear from her about it. When I tell you Iāll never use another agent! She is the reason why. That lady aināt offered me one red penny, took the damn air miles she knew she should have gave us considering she made us lose money! (I think one girl got them). Very very unprofessional and will make you lose money. Donāt book with her at all. Do it yourself! I had place a deposit for a trip to Cancun but was having such a hard time to get the owner to correct something so simple as an invoice amount to process a payment for this trip.
I attempted on several occasions to contact her via email, and phone to get her to process the invoice amount correctly although she stated to me she tried everything to fix the problem it was never corrected. Her response time getting back to me about the incorrect invoice amount was long and inconsistent as I had to reach out to her just to respond back to me. I truly had it up to my ears with this owner and decided not to go on a trip with this traveling agency. I rather place my money in buying my home and not support this business.
I would say to anyone whom is trying to use this company proceed with caution and research other traveling agencies before using this company. I have all of my emails saved on how this process was overwhelming and exhausting to get something corrected such as a invoice amount. I have now lost my money because she said it nonrefundable as well as not going on this trip. A lesson learned just because things look good, they may not always be...
