Perry Lanes — Local services in Bloomfield

We're excited to see Perry Lanes open again and are happy to support a local business! They just reopened for the first time in a long time, so there are couple hiccups with the scoring system and such, but they are working on it. I'd say give them a chance!

The positives: Perry Lanes staff are friendly. Bowling and shoe rentals are reasonably priced. Shoes are brand new! The facility is clean. There's a snack bar they are working on expanding. Plenty of seating. They have pool tables, claw machines, jukebox, etc.

What needs work: The scoring system needs some work, as it's not always accurate. I believe some of the sensors aren't working. They have plenty of bowling balls, but most of them are 10lb + and made for large hands. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate some lighter bowling balls. 🙋‍♀️

I really had a great time at this place. Staff is nice and understanding. They're very helpful as well. The pin setter and scoring computer is a little finicky, even though it's refurbished it's still very old. Pricing is also a bit high for my liking. But it wasn't the end of the world plus, if you go on the right day they have specials that makes pricing cheaper. It was $75 for 5 adults and 3 games. My family of 4 had a BLAST! VERY friendly staff. 3 of the 4 pairs of shoes we rented looked brand new, the one older pair was still in good shape. Yes, the scoring computers were janky, but they have paper score sheets available. There is room for little improvements (a couple chairs have tears, etc) but it really didn't affect our experience. This was my youngest's first time bowling and he's already asking when we can go again...which will probably be...
