Went there looking to have a carpet installed in my hallway as my new puppy has more or less destroyed the old one. I walked around for about a half hour and no one offered to help me out, all of the associates were just socializing with each other. A group of female workers just talked while customers like myself who needed help walked by and when I finally asked the guy working in the department, DENNIS, for help he spoke to me in a very condescending and disrespectful manner, as if I was just window shopping and was going to waste his time. I assume that because Im young he jumped to the conclusion that I was not there to spend any money so he didnt even make an effort to help me, he just continued talking to his coworker while continuing to talk down to me and make sarcastic comments when I explained to him what I wanted to buy. Then he told me Home Depot doesnt do installations! I actually work for the Home Depot in Clifton so I know what the stores do and for him to have told me that only speaks to me about how truly lazy he is. His customer service skills need serious help and I suggest he go back through training to better understand the philosophy behind home depot and how much this company values customer service. Its very sad to say that as an associate I will be taking my business elsewhere because of the laziness and lack of professionalism that I received from this associate named DENNIS. This Home Depot is a hole and DOES NOT properly represent the company. To all reading this, do yourselves a favor and drive an extra 15 minutes out to Clifton where we actually value our customers unlike under trained associates such as DENNIS. I will also be following up with a complaint to the HR at this particular store. No one should have been treated the way I did, especially when theyre looking to spend a lot of money. something like carpet installed,...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the customer service and management of this store. First of all the lack of interest to address customer's is insane. Instead of fooling around and complaining about what you are suppose to be doing why don't you help keep the lines a flow. Secondly, when my order says "ready for pick up" yet i still wait 30 minutes for my order and it's not even accurate. Third when picking up my order the customer service rep claims i had a balance due and called online support, she didn't want to wait for the support to clear up any concerns and asked if I wanted to pick up another day instead? The ignorant part of all of this is the fact that ORDERS CANNOT BE PLACED ONLINE WITHOUT PAYMENT! So please help me understand why a balance would be due? Then, a manager comes over and basically couldn't help either, go figure yet you are a manger!? Oh but Bloomfield Home Depot reps are not the only ignorant ones, online support is just as horrible, they ship incorrect items and then expect you to wait another 6-7 days for the correct items. Do any of these customer service reps/ managers realize that time is money!? Who is going to pay my contractor extra money to come back in 7 days? I am sure I am not the only person who has had these issues, however I have spent quite a pretty penny in Home Depot in the last 4 weeks and this is insane. Oh and one more thing I ordered an appliance and if it was not for me to call and clarify something I would have never known the item was on back order and wont receive it until 4 WEEKS later. INSANE, ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INSANE. Thank God Best buy was able to get it to me in 3 days. Moral of story my home is almost complete, I will be shopping elsewhere for any...
Read moreHome depot has the worst Appliance installation and warranty service ever!! I bought this “brand new” washer and dryer set and 1st of all i had to wait 20 days for the installation to be done, 1st attempt supposedly there was a piece missing in order for the installation to be done. 2nd attempt after i took the day off from work to be home for them they called the same day to cancel the appointment because they didn’t have a driver available. One week after they finally came and did the installation but guess what? as soon as they left i wanted to use my dryer and i couldn’t because it was making a loud noise. I called several times the home depot customer service line for this issue and they wouldn’t find a solution for my problem until i had to scream out who ever was on the phone and they sent a technician to check on my dryer. The technician said that the problem was that they dropped the dryer either during the delivery or at the warehouse and after that the dryer wouldn’t have the Samsung warranty anymore then he told me call home depot again. I called again several times and here i am two month after and i still cant use my dryer because they cant find a way to solve customer’s issues. I totally understand that accidents happen but how come a big store like home depot does not have a plan B and not only that. They have a horrible customer service, i paid money for this “brand new” set and they gave me something broken and after all they make me feel like im asking them for a favor. I suggest everyone NOT TO BUY any appliance at home depot they are extremely irresponsible. This is so sad to say but i feel like they are just taking...
