Loved this church!! We were visiting from out of town and decided to come here during our stay. We’ve visited lots of different churches and each one is different and has things to get used to. But this one felt like home right away! And everything and everyone from announcements to worship to the sermon was great. We of course showed up when they were doing two really tough sermons- politics one week and sex the next. I’ve been in church my whole life and this is the first time I ever felt like I heard a genuine explanation of how to handle these hot topics as Christians in a way that Christ would actually handle it and not in a way that Christian’s think it should be handled. I wish I could attend more! I started watching online because of how they handled those topics. They also have lots of ways to engage and connect. Highly recommend...
Read moreI went to preschool here when it was still Bloomington Assemblies of God. I grew with the lord as a shy little kid here and went here through high school. I did camp and was involved as much as I could be here. I struggled with some things inside my home and at school. Instead of being there a for me, the new youth pastor at that time said some things to me that drove me away from church for a really long time after that. I felt like I wasn’t enough for a church id been apart of my whole life because of one person. I don’t blame the church itself, it was definitely my family at one time. I felt God here more than 90% of other churches I have been to over the last 10 years. If I were closer I would come back. The pastors here were solid and this church was...
Read moreThe facility is very nice. The singing is semi-professional (very well done). The messages are solid, biblical and meaningful. Outreach in this church is the best I've ever seen. Biblical truth is spoken with a heavy dose of grace. Going to this church makes me feel free and accepted. No pretenses. No perfect people. No snobbery. If you're tired of a pulpit bully, give this place a chance. Just come as you are and be ready for a different sort of church experience. P.S. If you have a Bible, bring it because you'll use it. If you don't, there will be one...
