Interstate Center — Local services in Bloomington

Went for the gun show. It keeps getting worse and worse though every year. More and more knives and junk than actual firearms. And I don't know what it is about the businesses that actually spend the money and take the time to bring out all their inventory, but none of them care to move merchandise. Everything (firearms) is marked up 30-40% higher than what you can easily find online and ship to your ffl. But they act like they're doing you a service by putting out a table at these shows....

Home to the world's largest 4-H Fair. Unfortunately, half the grounds were sold to a tractor supply store several years ago because there simply aren't enough events to pay for the upkeep. Buildings are in good shape, but some of the livestock pens need to be replaced...the panels are over 30 years old...

Went to 3rd Sunday Market. There are a lot of vendors, some of which come every month but with new items. I did notice this month, not as many vendors as usual but still a lot to see and buy. Best to come early if you are looking for something special or come late if looking for a bargain. Either way...
