One World Catering — Local services in Bloomington

We used One World to cater our wedding reception a few months ago. We signed our contract when Susan was working there, and than changed to another woman a few months before the wedding. When we first signed the contract we were extremely pleased with our menu, tasting and the cooperation from the staff. Our menu included some Mexican dishes and One World was able to work with us. When we changed our point person over the summer we were suddenly met with concerns over our menu. They attempted to change one of our appetizers (mini tacos), which we had requested specifically and we had to push for them to come up with a solution to provide this appetizer. At the wedding the food was delicious and mostly what we had expected. The rice was not as flavorful, or even the correct color. We had many comments about the delicious food throughout the night and during the months since the wedding. Everyone was very impressed by the mini tacos. I could not give them five stars because I was very disappointed that they disappeared with the remainder of the food at some point throughout the night without communicating with anyone. The remaining staff that had stayed to cut the cake were asked what had happened to the food and they said it had been gone for quite some time. This was very disappointing to us because we had specifically asked whether we would get the leftovers or not, and I would have liked to enjoy the leftovers since the actual wedding day was...

One World recently catered our wedding, and they were phenomenal. Choosing the food was an easy process and they helped us create a good menu with something for everyone. I should also note that our wedding was 100% vegan, and everything was so delicious! They even had some vegan desserts for the dessert table. They also provided the alcohol, which was very convenient. It was easy to coordinate linen/ dinnerware rentals through them.

All of the staff who worked at our wedding were so kind and helpful, and they took care of all of the setup/ breaking down of the table settings, dessert table, etc. Don’t even get me started on the food, it was so good!
