I absolutely love this office! I moved to Blue Springs last year from Louisiana and needed an eye doctor. I picked this one based solely on location and I am BEYOND THRILLED with their service, I feel like I got really lucky. The office staff is EXTREMELY friendly and personable. From the moment you walk in the door they greet you with a smile and immediate assistance. I have been to offices where the front office staff make you feel uncomfortable and dumb for asking questions, but at Bennett Eye Care Midwest in Blue Springs they are as kind as they come! The nursing staff is equally as amazing. On my first visit I informed the nurse that I had just moved here, was getting married and buying a house. When I visited today, more than A YEAR LATER, she asked me about all of it and genuinely cared! I seriously cannot say enough positive things about this office. They are just a very-knowledgeable warm welcoming staff and...I haven't even talked about the doctor yet! Once again, GENUINELY CARES ABOUT YOU AND YOUR WELL BEING! Very knowledgeable and thorough! Helped me understand my insurance and get the most for my money and talked to me like a peer rather than a patient. They aren't there to take advantage of you, they truly are in business to help you see the world more clearly! I am completely satisfied with this business and while I originally picked it because it was close and convenient, I now drive 30 minutes to see them (and will continue). My first experience here was one that separates their branch from any other local EyeCare. Almost 5 years ago, I had a severe neck injury from a chiropractor. Two years after my injury I developed panic attacks when I drive, vertigo, and cervical instability. I kept telling my PCP that I think it’s my neck and eyes, but I was dismissed over and over. The push for mental health meds was exhausting. I came across binocular vision dysfunction and quickly called to schedule an appointment. My eye was twitching from work and school, so I wanted to be sure it wasn’t worsening. I’m so glad I came here and was tested. I found out I did have binocular vision dysfunction and drove with my glasses for the first time without feeling anxious. I’ve been studying for the last 3 days without pressure behind my eyes, no migraine or sinus pressure, and my eye stopped twitching. I seriously could cry from the relief. So if you have panic attacks and have suffered a neck injury, or experience frequent migraines please go have an eye exam here. I finally got answers I was waiting two years to find. First off, let me just say that I would LOVE to take this team with me wherever I go. The care and exam I experienced were both pleasant the entire time.

I had an issue with my insurance randomly deciding that they would actually rather not let me get an exam. Dannell, the wonderful woman behind the counter worked her tail off trying to help me figure out a way to get an exam.

Three insurance calls later, I finally get them insurance company to update their system so that Bennett's computers would reflect my coverage. It was well past my appointment time, but I informed Dannell that it had been figured out.

She rushed to make sure I could still get seen, I was treated remarkably well, and got my visit done. Then, when it came time to find frames and what not, I was helped by Kenton (I think that's how you spell it) who listened to me on exactly what I was looking for, appropriate lenses, etc. He was even honest when it came to which up-sells would actually benefit me, and even helped me figure out how much and when I needed to pay for everything.

I'd give 10 stars if I could....
