Dollar General — Local services in Blue Springs

I went to store on 2/7/2024 at 850 pm. Teneka found me n the cleaning aisle at 852. She said we are closing early and I need to leave.

I said ok. I was looking for softscrub which I couldn’t find. The lady came at 854 and asked me if I was finished I needed to leave.

I found what I was looking for and walked to the front.

Teneka then changed her story and said the lights n the store would go black at 9 pm. They needed everyone n the store out early before the lights shut off.

I was not happy about the harassment.

I went to my car and waited until 9 to see if the lights went out. They did not. At 9 pm a car pulled up the parking n handicap and Teneka let him inside the well lit store. It is now 902 pm and he was allowed to stay n the store.

This car parked at the store was the only car n the parking...

Visited this store for the 1st time. It was very clean compared to other dollar general stores in my area, however in my time shopping there, and I was in there for a while, I was not greeted by nor did I ever see one single employee. I was looking for a particular item and the website said there were 10 in stock, could not find a single one on the shelves. I could not find an emplpyee to get assistance. I then had a few items in my hand and proceeded to check out only to wait 15 minutes and not one single employee ever came to a register, so I left the store. Very...

The poor employees are overworked. I am appalled. This store is busy but you don’t staff it enough for employees to have a break. Very sad for the employees who are expected to do two jobs at the same time. The gas station across the street has 3 people at the counter minimum. A pathetic way to run a business....
