Location is what makes this park popular. It is close enough to San Antonio to go enjoy the big city and all its attractions, but located perfectly to also allow trips to Fredericksburg, Kerrville, wineries, and gorgeous parks and outside activities in the area. Great for short term visits, but if you are looking for long term, run far and fast. Management is very unprofessional. You can walk in and hear the husband and wife yelling and cursing at each other and employees ( I have walked in to this situation multiple times). Public area's aren't deep cleaned. Was told that I have to purchase my own landscape timbers for around site, have to beg for rocks after rains wash out parking pads, never received any, bought my own. They absolutely refuse to enforce speed limits. They do nothing unless they get called.out publicly. Locks on gates to the pool don't work for safety, so padlocks used, only sometimes. The pool was resurfaced last winter, apparently not guaranteed because they have to have a hose running at all times because the pool leaks. Any attempt to discuss ends up in retaliation. The women's bathroom says wheelchair friendly, but the stall doors open inward, completely inaccessible for handicapped people. Notified management months ago, multiple times. Never addressed. No free WiFi except in "business center" which also serves as a gym. Cable TV is free but a third of the channels don't have decent reception, after 9 months of being told the new boxes were on order, I just gave up. I know of multiple people who have left or been asked to leave for BS reasons & yet sites that have had multiple police incidents never have to leave. If you dislike something you are kicked out.
After being given 72 hours to leave & told that I could come back at a later date, after posting this review I received the text message below. I have friends who live there. I was helping a friend with her dogs because she had death in the family, on top of her daughter being hospitalized, and pregnant, and her husband was working 12 hr days. I was going over to just potty the dogs & play with them because 12 hours is a.long time to be stuck in an RV & I already have a relationship with the dogs, but because I posted this review, I got the text message below. After begging & pleading to please let me just walk the dogs so I don't have to tell my friend in the middle of all she is going through that she has to hire an outside dog walking service, I was not given a reaponse. My friend called & pleaded with her & she refused. It is unprofessional, vengeful & mean hearted. The only ones that suffered were the dogs & my friend & her family, who have nothing to do with my being kicked out. I was kicked out for being a trouble maker. Yet, last year, my small group and some friends "adopted" 2 families & gave their kids amazing Christmas's. I donated a car to a friend of theirs who was down on his luck, but they later kicked him out because he didn't agree with them. I have never been a troublemaker and I am too old and tired to cause trouble. I am honest. I am ethical & moral. Which does not work well with people who are not. 3 days after kicking me out the mgr got Covid. I had been in her office, I have health issues, she did not notify anyone she was in contact with of her Covid diagnosis. No tracing done at all! She could have infected me & half the park. Owners are completely oblivious to the fact that they only hire friends & provide receipts then get a kick back. Recently MAYBE $400 of plants were bought, labor was from existing maintenance people, rocks were already on site. Management claims thousands of dollars to improve landscaping. I feel sorry for the owners who are losing money, being swindled & happily going along thinking their park is doing great. It has great potential, but...
Read moreI am a seasoned traveler who has dedicated my time to training service dogs specifically for veterans. As a veteran myself, I understand the profound importance of privacy and respect, particularly in a world that can sometimes be insensitive to our needs. The dogs that I train are American Bulldogs, an exceptional breed known for their loyalty and temperament. While the law pertaining to service dogs in the United States is designed to protect the rights of individuals like myself, I have observed with concern that this legal framework is not consistently upheld in various RV parks. Unfortunately, there are instances where establishments are aware that enforcement of such policies is lacking, leading to unwarranted rejection or an unwelcoming atmosphere based solely on the dog’s breed.
To mitigate potential misunderstandings, I made it a point to communicate with Victoria, the manager, prior to my arrival. I firmly believe in the value of dialogue and respect, and I was pleased to find that my efforts were reciprocated with a warm and respectful welcome. My experience at the park was overwhelmingly positive; we were treated with the same dignity and consideration afforded to any other patron. This simple act of inclusion is precisely what any veteran and their service dog seeks—an opportunity to coexist peacefully and without undue attention.
The RV park itself is a stunning property that has recently undergone a transition in management. It was evident that the previous administration had allowed certain areas of the park to fall into disrepair; however, I have witnessed remarkable changes over the past couple of months. The current management, alongside dedicated contractors and staff, is diligently working towards restoring the park to its previous state of excellence, and their efforts are commendable.
The dog parks within the facility are particularly noteworthy—they are impeccably clean and consistently maintained by the diligent staff. I have yet to enter either park and encounter litter or animal waste, which speaks volumes about the level of care being implemented. Furthermore, the residents of this community are now actively engaged in promoting a sense of camaraderie, motivated by the new management's initiatives to foster a collaborative environment.
Boerne, Texas, is well-regarded as a safe community, and this reputation is supported by the presence of local law enforcement, who regularly patrol the resort's vicinity. This attention to safety and security is an integral advantage and adds to the overall appeal of staying at this location.
I have come across numerous reviews suggesting that this establishment resembles more of a trailer park than a resort. While I acknowledge that a significant number of long-term residents inhabit the park, I contend that whether one is seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country or requiring a more permanent residence, Alamo Fiesta RV offers a serene, convenient, and family-friendly environment that is also accommodating to dogs—a fact that makes it an attractive choice for all guests.
Thank you Management for making our stay absolutely uneventful in the good...
Read moreThis RV resort is more like a trailer park. I would not recommend anyone that has active kids or pets to stay here short or long term. Most of the residents that live at this park full time are retired elderly people that have no kids. When we moved into this park we were told that there was new management so there was going to be many changes throughout our stay here. Honestly the new management is slowly becoming more of a dictator rather than managing the community. I am always coming home to my spouse being upset because of all the constant emails of new complaints, towing vehicles, threats, fines, and banned. Rules are constantly being changed every other day and if you refuse to pay those additional fines that Victoria lady will threats you with getting banned from the park without a refund. You can’t be outside your rv with your kids and pets because there are always people reporting you and that’s when the threats and fines come into place. Example, the spaces that management assigned you to are to small and is impossible to fit two large vehicles without the end of it being on the roadway. If you ask to be moved you have to pay $100 and all the bigger spaces are taken up by long term residence and you are not allowed to park in an empty space next to you. Victoria will tell you to pay $105 monthly to have that vehicle at the very back of the park in storage or she will have it towed. Your diesel trucks or motorcycle can not be loud, dogs can’t bark, kids can’t be loud, no listening to music outside, because those elderly residents will report you and she will be add a heavy fine or banned your family immediately. You can’t have your family or friend come visit because she will charge you $15 per day, per person and they can’t park their vehicle at the rec hall or office. You guessed it, they will get towed or added fines. You can’t throw away ANY bulky items at the dumpster if not you will get fined $500. I can keep going on but I am sure you see the point. The pictures online show a nice looking park, staff is nice when greeting you but once you move in you and your family can’t do much but stay inside. There are a lot of the nice reviews online from the elderly full time residents that has been here for years and are told to update review or leave a new one. It’s an extremely headache living here and family is always feeling uncomfortable and on edge. Men is you want a happy wife and kids just move somewhere else. I do hope the landlord changes things and him himself makes realistic rules and the women at the front office just enforce them. Just save you and your family the big headache and go to...
