H-E-B — Local services in Boerne

I have never in my life have heard of a more rude manager than the one my mother experienced today at the fair oaks location. His name was Jeremiah. My mom had $10-$20 in coupons on her app and the young girl checking her out went so fast my mom couldn't type in her phone number. My mom brought this to her attention and she didn't know how to scan her app or redo the transaction. Jeremiah the "manager" comes over and starts giving my mom attitude and raising his voice at her for no reason. He kept saying that she needed to contact customer support to get a refund for the coupon money. When my mom asked for the phone number he refused to give it to her. Which I know is a lie because I've worked customer service and all you have to do is make a return and rescan everything with the coupon. He refused to do that and continued to raise his voice in front of everyone embarrassing my mom. He yelled at her saying "I've worked here 5 years" and "you clearly don't want a solution to your problem". After he yelled that he proceeded to yell "I'm not talking to you anymore" and walked away. My mom went to the customer service desk and decided to refund everything like I said previously to get her money back. Jeremiah sees her and comes back over yelling at her again and hovering over the customer service desk listening to what my mom was telling the person helping her. My mom is hypoglycemic and her blood sugar was dropping all while he was causing her to have an anxiety attack. There is absolutely zero excuse for that. I hope that problem with Jeremiah gets solved because that is really embarrassing that a new location is already having people of power act like this...

Great new location in Fair Oaks Ranch. This new location has brought much needed relief to the Boerne and Leon Springs area. Following the initial surge of patrons after the grand opening, things have returned to normal and now there are no lines and plentiful parking at all three local stores. The Fair Oaks location is well laid out, with spacious aisles, large meat and seafood counters, a great deli, a larger than normal Sushiya counter, a dedicated Tortierilla section, and an impressive wine selection. The stand out feature of this location is the staff. Remarkably friendly and there is someone in every section of the store ready to offer assistance and recommendations. Love this company's stores. However, their bakery products are awful. Poor quality icing (they're supplier must be giving them a price on icing that makes them think it's a good deal... but, IT'S NOT)! Subpar cake mix used for their cakes. Donuts and pastries that are really poor quality. (Goes back to the thinking of getting a great deal on supplies, however, they're sacrificing quality). NOTE: I haven't been around bakeries for morw than 20 years. However, I have experience in the baking industry, so, I do know what I am talking about. I am surprised that such a quality grocery store chain would allow their bakery to be so horrible. (Special note... just because it looks good, it doesn't mean it taste good).
