Mike has the true heart of an artist and equally as important are his amazing skills. His metal work is incredible, unique, and finely crafted. He created a piece for my daughter with a diamond that had very special significance for both her and me. He did an original design and wasn't satisfied with the first piece. He called me and said that something just didn't feel right about it to him and he wanted to rework it. I am sure I would have loved the original carving but he called me a couple of weeks later and said "I got it. It feels right." and invited me to come in and see. On the second attempt, he made the cross smaller so that the diamond looked bigger and was the true focus of the artwork. He told me "That diamond is what connected you to her father and it needed to be the focus." He was so right.
