Met Ena the tourist ambassador she was pleasant and insightful 😀. Definitely loved all exhibits and portraits and interactive consoles on history of Roxbury. Especially enjoyed the display of the apple 🍎 cider making machine that was truly a ancient machine but clearly worked. I also loved the folks I met there was a young man believed Matthew from UMass he conducted a apple 🍎 bingo game of the sort for people to complete which was interesting and there was a Author on apples and a gentleman in colonial clothing passing out apple donuts and apple cider from store so I got that cider and gladly enjoyed myself feasting on that. In addition, to the side they had three different apples 🍎 and I grabbed 2 honeycrisp apple rather sweet and distinguish because light green and hint of redness and rather large. I loved the fact they had Malcolm X from Roxbury and some artifacts they found in his home he was a great leader and I enjoyed reading 📚 about this leader. I took pictures 📷 of many things and another thing that caught my eye 👁 was the fireplace with in which they had a spot you would put pie 🥧 in and to the side of open area below was a cauldron yes I said it, it is the month of Halloween 🎃 🙃 for you ghouls and gals and supposedly those particular pots was what 😳 🧙♀️ 🧹 used to brew their magic concoction up in. But for the people in that time of history it was a cast iron pot they made stews in. It was multifaceted of the history and things of this place I'd so desired to go see for many moons 🌙 to see here in Roxbury for years to see. I definitely go again and recommend folks to walk, jog and drive down to see 👀 😀. Definitely would go again. It was a bootiful experience October 2023 the month of Halloween 🎃 🤪 🙃 or harvest fest whichever you 🤔 delight in I do both. Bring friends and family to this hidden jewel in the heart ❤ of Roxbury next to Timilty School and across the 1st church ⛪ of Roxbury all 3 are historical sites near by to other historical sites in Roxbury within walking...
